There are multiple volumes, but so far I have only read this first one. The game's R18 content is purchased separately but of course I had to get it to make a fair review of the experience as intended. Totally. I read the Steam version in English.

This story is one of Nasu's earlier thought up stories and takes place as a sort of prequel to all the fate/tsukihime bullshit. Has nothing directly to do with any of those, but acts as a sort of window to more lore and magical nonsense that goes on in Nasu's Grand Plan.

Remember Lucky Dog? Remember Gian? I barely do. Let's watch him break out of prison AGAIN and watch him get railed by someone I forgot already existed until I looked up the vndb page for the first game. Anyways this is a fandisk of the original Luckydog1 in case anyone doesn't know that, and contains an alternate universe scenario diverging from the original's plot. Thus I'm gonna reach really far and say this game works standalone!

The game also includes some brief epilogue episodes for each of the main boys from the original.

Kyoukai no Shirayuki Review

I got this game solely for Kinako's art, and damn was her art worth it. Anyways being the optimistic person I am, seeing the trailers I was excited for a mysterious dark otoge! What I got was, a decent cute vanilla otoge. It's a solid game, and I liked it! However it's definitely not perfect.

As the 3rd(?) 4th? idk otoge that Aksys brought over to throw at the West ofc I had to do my job as an otoge supporter and buy it. And y'know what? I really wish I didn't. Norn9 is an absolute shit excuse for an otogame and if you honestly believe the characters, writing, and romance written in this game is believable or doki-doki inducing than I'm sorry but you are either a naive child, or are just a fool. I'm sorry but I don't make the rules here. Anyways, idk about the original JP version, but I played the Aksys localized one! Went in bright eyed and positive!
