[18+] Ooe -Complete Edition- || Review + Plot Dump

IT'S HERE!!! OOE OOE OOE OOE OOE KYA KYAA KYAAAAAAAA WEEEHHHHHHHHH *throws up from excitement*

OOE -Complete Edition-

Creator: ADELTA
Released April 19, 2025

Being sent as the body double for a rich boy to the most suspicious memorial service of all time on an isolated abandoned island, will the stoic detective Oosaki figure out what the hell is going on? Or will he lose his virginity instead? Or both? The mysteries unravel further in this highly anticipated conclusion to the story.

Review will be generally for the game as a whole, and won't contain spoilers for either half. Feel free to check out my post on Part 1 too if you want my initial takes.

Game Details

The game is by ADELTA, which consists of solo developer Kurosawa Rinko.

Game Website | The site contains general information and links to where you can purchase the game. The game is released on BOOTH, Animate Games, DL Site, and FANZA. I purchased it on BOOTH which comes with bonus HD CG's of Shizuma's beautiful body if you're curious.

It's 4,400 yen which is a total steal. I would send more money if I could, but I can no longer tip after my initial purchase. Those who purchased the first part have access to the full version as part of that, so that's what happened for me. This game is now the complete version on every release, so no new buyers have to worry about it being part 1 or 2.

An English localization has been confirmed by ADELTA but there has yet to be announced any dates or which publisher is handling it. My guess is MangaGamer since they handled the other games, and they will probably finish in 5 years. I hate them sometimes. With how huge the reception has been, if they care about profits at all they will speed up the process. But seeing as how LuckyDog has been in the works for 7 years now, they clearly don't care about their BL seeking audience and assume people will buy regardless of how long they take. I highly recommend just supporting ADELTA directly even if you can't read. Yes I'm spiteful towards MG, sorry.

The Japanese level required to read the game is around intermediate and will likely require a dictionary for the non fluent. I heard VN text hooking for MTL has come a long way so one could use that as well. I haven't been in that scene for a while though so you'll have to look into that yourself.

Synopsis

The setting is 1950's post-WW2 Japan. 22 year old emotionally stunted virgin detective Oosaki has been living life passively since losing his family as a child. One day, he is given the peculiar job of impersonating his rich doppelganger in order to attend the world's most suspicious memorial service in his place. Held on the now abandoned island of Ooejima, Oosaki finds himself amidst ten mentally unique eligible and ineligible bachelors of dubious morality.

What happens when the group finds that this service was just as suspicious as it seemed? Why were they chosen to come? And what happens when they find themselves stranded? As a man with a strong sense of justice and an honest character, what will become of our only seme as he's trapped amidst a pack of devious ukes?

REVIEW

STORY|| A+ | The story is awesome. This is definitely ADELTA's magnum opus. I won't say the character routes are treated equally since they aren't, but the writing is consistently engaging and each route does serve the purpose of slowly giving you more information about the big picture and exploring deeper into Oosaki's questionable mindset. It's not really a mystery to be solved but more a story to be unraveled by reading it so don't expect every question to be solvable. Some things become quite apparent early on but others not so much... It's a wild ride with emotional highs and lows, accompanied by the occasional hanky panky. But yeah, it's clear a lot of thought was put into the narrative and it shows. The priority was very heavily placed on the core themes and story over giving each character a yaoiful route, and I think that's one of the games strengths in setting it apart from others in the genre.

MUSIC|| B+ | While there aren't a lot of tracks, what's used really does pair excellently with every scene. While one or two are catchy, most are more somber or neutral since this is a generally spoopy mystery somber story. I heard there's some tracks that are reused from Ultra C, but I played that like 10 years ago so I don't remember... whatever. There are multiple ED songs as well, and from what I've heard ADELTA wrote the lyrics, so they are thematically relevant... Even more things to analyze for the more inquisitive yaoi novel appreciators.

ART|| A+| The art is peak and in a high quantity as is usual for an ADELTA game. They're also clearly much improved from ADELTA's last VNs. In official materials it's stated that color theory was heavily taken into account when creating each CG to set specific tones, and that really comes through clearly. They're very good. Just... in general, the art is so good and the choice of CG's are all good. There are already a lot, but I still want more. Especially of my favorites, but some things can't be helped.

CHARACTERS|| A+ | I LOVE EVERYONE!!! I LOVE THEM!!! Except maybe the old men. Sorry. We'll they're interesting. This game really excels at writing characters with each one feeling very fleshed out. The excellent character writing really drives a majority of the story which isn't unexpected from a yaoi game, but still this cast feels like the most engaging cast of all yaoi games I've ever played. There wasn't really anyone I straight up disliked, and genuinely I feel every route really does add to the narrative as a whole. Each explore a different kind of energy and each character embodies something different, so seeing Oosaki deal with them feels refreshing in every route.

ROMANCE|| A| Honestly from a doki doki rabu rabu angle, the romance in this story lacks that kind of punch, but in its place it explores emotional connections that feel a little more nuanced. These are a lot of broken and fucked up people filling the void by clinging to someone in these hard times. Rather than the explosive and passionate love seen in many stories, this game's more subtle and unromantic approach to finding 'love' makes a strong impact in itself. Kurosawa said this was a love story, and it really is. Even if some endings don't feel like real love, love comes in many shapes... Probably. Either way, each route leaves one with a lot to think about.

OVERALL|| A+| I really adored this game. It completely cleared Hashihime and Ultra C in my opinion and it really showcases how good Kurosawa is getting at everything. My queen... I kneel. The story is just so complete, and it feels so focused as well. It accomplishes what it sets out to do while also being filled with some of the most wifeable men I've ever seen. It's difficult to find points to criticize, besides the fact that my favorites deserve more screen time. And my favorite deserves 5 more routes and an epilogue and a fan disk and a drama CD. But some things can't be helped.

This VN tries to tackle mystery and horror while keeping the mood generally somber and realistic, and I feel it was successful in what it does. While spooky and depressing at times, it's humorous and ridiculous at others. I experienced almost every emotion over the course of reading this VN. Of course, while it's impossible to not still want more and wish for more content for characters who received less, that's not a flaw that I would hold against the source material.

I HIGHLY recommend this game to everyone. HIGHLY! It's just very good. There's just so much thought put into this game. There are so many little details and information sprinkled throughout that can be gleaned from subtle character interactions and the like... Like there's so much about these characters that are so apparent once you know what to look for... I don't know. Just... you have to read it for yourself... I feel this one of those VN's that you just have to experience on your own. There are full on essays analyzing the characters out there for a reason... I have been reading them. And most of all, the character banter is just excellent. These are very funny men.

While it does contain some wild subject matters that may bother some people, for the most part I believe Ooe handles these subjects maturely. Life isn't pretty, and the results of some of the nastier things won't be pretty either... that's just how it is. People are complicated, and so are the characters in this game. It's zesty for sure.

Anyways this VN is definitely a 9/10... Subtracting one point because [extremely minor spoiler] nobody else got a glistening hole shot like a certain somebody did. I WANT TO SEE HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Favorite child syndrome is real... Okay I be jesting. This may just be a 10/10...

Peak.

Anyways there were just a few issues. The game is prone to crashing sometimes when skipping text, so gamers beware. Route clears don't seem to automatically save either, so it's best to open any scene and make a save before quitting the game after finishing a route.

 Content Warnings:

Same as before. All corpses are silhouettes and most violence is vague. Not much grotesque details so squeamish people have nothing to worry about. In general I think this game should be consumable to anyone who can handle common adult themes.

For specifics, there's rape, dubcon, implications and mentions of incest, hetero/bisexuality, PTSD, adultery, cannibalism, mentions of abortion, mentions/implications of grooming/abuse of minors, cuckoldry, and other regular stuff. I'm starting to forget. Honestly there really isn't that much shocking content.

SPOILER FILLED PLOT DUMP BELOW!

[[Note: Kurosawa-sensei does not wish for images from the game to be posted around and even if barely anyone going to find my blogpost anyways, I'd like to respect her wishes to some extent so I've removed CG's from my summary. I'll try to fill in some replacement jpegs later but I'm lazy right now. Anyways just summarizing the plot probably not that much allowed either but nobody read my blog (except *points at you* YOU my beloved reader!) so it should be okay I think. I did put spoiler warnings after all...]]

Dump is only covering content from part 2 since I already summarized the first routes in my other post, so I'll be starting from there. Major Spoilers will be detailed, so beware! Please note that I'm a clumsy reader with poor long term memory so don't take everything I say as 100% fact. Also since this just a generalized summary it will likely lack details... like the charming banter between characters... This VN is such a delight to read through on your own... I should read it again!

Okay anyways, there is a forced route order except that Takeshiba and Shiodome's routes are both available after completing the initial 3 routes, but both must be cleared to move on from there.

Notes for anyone who needs some recap: Ooejima is the island they on. The island next door where Komuse ferried them to Ooejima from is Hachijouji. Yaegaki and Mikazuki are the two inns on Ooejima, with Yaegaki being the nice one with the baths that's closer to the temple, and Mikazuki being the simpler one closer to the pier.

There's probably more important points to remember but I forget. Whatever.

Table of Contents:
Takeshiba Route
Shiodome B Route (A Route)
Shijoumae Route
Toyosu Route
Hinode Route
Funeno Route
Shizuma Route
Final Thoughts

TAKESHIBA ROUTE

Takeshiba's route branches during the 1st day of being stranded after the memorial, when he attempts to entertain everyone at Yaegaki. When he asks Oosaki to tell everyone about his most miserable day or whatever, feeling that it seems like a terrible subject to discuss at a time like this, Oosaki completely changes the subject and tells everyone his favorite saying: Catch a rabbit on a spring day... As in, rabbits rarely appear in the fields in spring, but that's just how finding happiness is like. To patiently wait for good opportunities... Either way he actually just made it up on the spot. He pushes everyone else to join in, and they do, resulting in the mood getting a little more friendly.  Everyone's sayings are about rabbits for some reason. I went back to see what they were to list here, aren't I nice.

Takeshiba: Release the hounds when you see rabbits! Even if you think it's too late, as long as you give your all, things can turn around!

Ariake: Try to catch two rabbits and end up with none. Don't be too greedy and live life sincerely! That's a lot coming from YOU... just kidding that's mean. He is sort of sincere I suppose.

Shijoumae: A lion wins the rabbit! (or something like that) A lion gives it's all to catch one rabbit, as in you should live your life by giving your all!

Toyosu: A rabbit climbs the mountain. A rabbit will keep hopping up no matter how steep, so as long as you keep taking a step things will progress!

After chatting a bit, Takeshiba leaves to make tea and invites Oosaki to come with him. In the kitchen, he asks if his attempt to entertain actually set a bad mood, forcing Oosaki to step in. He then says he feels sorry for Oosaki who seems to be overly considerate towards other people. For whatever reason Shinbashi also appears to assist. He claims he ran away because everyone started playing stupid games that he doesn't want to participate in, but soon reveals that he actually wants to talk with Oosaki. It becomes apparent that Oosaki's stupid little motto and awkward conversation skills managed to convince Shinbashi of his innocence... Shinbashi casually aborts his poison plot and secretly removes his pre-poisoned cup while bringing up his theory on the mastermind. He asks Oosaki to cooperate him in finding a way to collect everyone's charges, since if they can examine any similarities between them, it may result in a clue about who could've gotten this information. Takeshiba gets upset since these two are the only ones who's charges are not present, thus making them bystanders compared to the rest who are clearly very high strung about the whole thing. He leaves, refusing to cooperate.

Meanwhile, Oosaki and Shinbashi quickly form a trusting bond of sorts. Oosaki already trusts Shinbashi because he's obviously not the mastermind, so for Shinbashi to become cooperative now there's really nothing stopping them from being productive besides Shinbashi's horrible personality. I thought this was Takeshiba's route??? Anyways, lastly before ending the conversation, Shinbashi states his own saying which is something along the eyes of rabbit ears and a hawk's eyes. Basically he won't let a single detail pass him by. Of course.

Returning to the group, Oosaki immediately asks everyone to cooperate and hand their charges over and obviously nobody wants to do so. Toyosu tries to speak for Hinode but strangely enough, Hinode steps up and hands Oosaki his papers anyways. This creates a more even split in the group. Shijoumae is extremely offended by the idea that Hinode, who possesses his charges, wants to join the enemy team, and starts accusing Oosaki of manipulating a child, demanding that Hinode return to the 'safe side'. He even makes outlandish offers, like telling Hinode he would be happy to adopt him as his son if he sided with him. WHO WOULD WANT TO BE YOUR SON!?!? Even Hinode's confused like what...

Surprisingly, Shijoumae's attempts to speak for Hinode causes Takeshiba to get extremely pissed, telling the boomer that he has no right to force his will onto Hinode's just because he thinks he knows better from being an old fuck. Hinode may be young, but he can make his own decisions! Wow... Takeshiba is a defender of a child's agency... amazing. However, Aomi immediately steps in to argue with Takeshiba. Knowing that he's a dumb fuck compared to Aomi, Takeshiba immediately suggests that they should resolve the issue by betting it over a game of cards. Being a stubborn boomer who hates to lose, Shijoumae immediately accepts the offer, much to Aomi's chagrin.

It's very funny that Takeshiba was initially on their side but jumped ships just because of Hinode... HE CARES ABOUT  CHILDREN! HE'S MOTHERING!? The game they decide to play is Reverse Old Maid, in that the last person to hold the joker wins while anyone who runs out of cards loses. The players are Takeshiba, Shijoumae, and Hinode. If Shijoumae wins, Hinode stays on their side. If Hinode wins, he stays on Oosaki's side. And if Takeshiba wins, both Hinode and Shijoumae join Oosaki's side. It's completely unbalanced, but Shijoumae already accepted so whatever. The one rule is that bystanders are not allowed to comment where the Joker is, or their team is disqualified.

On another note, it's also just really funny that Ariake becomes extremely butthurt about being on opposing sides from Oosaki, claiming that Oosaki doesn't trust him anymore or whatever and becoming incredibly antagonistic. Oosaki doesn't understand where he's coming from... Also, Aomi REALLY doesn't want his charges passed around, so him getting upset gets everyone nervous, but they gotta do what they gotta do...

Oosaki spends the game standing behind Hinode and trying to teach him how to play. Regardless, Hinode does really fucking badly and loses cards almost every turn. Shinbashi who's standing behind Shijoumae keeps giving Oosaki extremely telling glances, but Oosaki has NO idea what he is trying to convey. After Hinode's disqualified, he finally puts some clues together and accuses Shijoumae of cheating! He's been hiding the joker card btwn his fingers and cards, making it impossible for others to draw it!

Team Shijoumae immediately look at Oosaki evilly and Aomi declares they're disqualified becauese Oosaki commented on the location of the joker. Shinbashi does the whole 'omg you fucking idiot!' thing tsunderely, but Takeshiba turns the tables by revealing... he also has a joker... Apparently, he counted the cards wrong, so the REAL joker card is the JACK! Since there's only one jack between him and Shijoumae's hands! Wow! Their disqualification is saved!

The team go back to the kitchen for a strategy break, and Takeshiba reveals that he actually just had a joker hidden in his sleeve and swapped it out just now before making all that up. From here he doesn't have any strategies... Since it's his magician cards deck Oosaki asks Takeshiba if they have any tricks that will help them cheat. Takeshiba takes out the card manual which he was also keeping on him, and they read through it, soon realizing that they are indeed cheat cards with hidden marks on the back indicating what they are. They could've been cheating this whole time... Shinbashi gets extremely miffed obviously, and Takeshiba confesses that he doesn't read any manual that has too many words. Same.

The squad roll back in ready to cheat the game, but find that Aomi has painted the cardbacks over with black ink. IT'S OVER! Still, Takeshiba uses keen observation to pick the joker (jack) from Shijoumae's now ink covered hand, before using sleight of hand to prevent Shijoumae from picking it back. He got a magician's touch for real...

Another random note, during the game Takeshiba mentioned his favorite number was 'Nico nico's (smile) ni (two)'... NICO NICO NII??? LOVE LIVE REFERENCE? Just kidding.

After Takeshiba's win, team Oosaki drags Shijoumae out with them to another room so they can have another strategy meeting. Takeshiba reveals his charges of having set his family on fire (though obviously he didn't do it himself or anything), and they manage to convince Shijoumae's to reveal his of performing illegal lobotomies on people as well (though obviously it wasn't like really illegal or anything).

Apparently Takeshiba's crime, he'd only ever told a church pastor at a confessional, and to his psychiatrist. Also, HE'S CHRISTIAN!?? Shijoumae says that he only ever told his psychiatrist about his. Also, apparently the brother of one of the people he 'helped' with his totally not illegal lobotomies tried to kill him before, but he committed suicide so that guy probably not involved. Everyone is kinda flabbergasted by how little Shijoumae seems to feel guilty about his totally not illegal lobotomies, but this isn't realy the time to challenge him on that... Oosaki detectives that the culprit then must be someone who has access to the medical records from multiple hospitals... Apparently any doctor can retrieve documents cross hospital as well, so who could be the mastermind...?

When Oosaki suggests letting him turn these documents to the police when they get back to the mainland, everyone's mood shifts. Obviously they don't want that! The door opens and apparently team Ariake was also eavesdropping, and Aomi suggests yet another minigame to decide whether Oosaki should turn things to the police or not.

The new game is newspaper rock paper scissors. In that each team stands on a newspaper, and every time they lose at rock paper scissors they fold the paper in half. Once one team can no longer fit on the paper, they lose. Oosaki immediately agrees because he doesn't really care if they win or lose, seeing as how nobody wants to go to the police anyways. Team Oosaki is decided as Oosaki, Hinode, and Shinbashi, while team Ariake is just Ariake and Toyosu. In exchange for being only two people, they get a handicap of starting with a folded paper. It doesn't seem even remotely fair but whatever.

As Oosaki's team continuously loses and they have to squish closer together, Ariake gets increasingly jealous which is very funny. Oosaki at one point tries whispering a strategy in Hinode's ear, and he immediately goes weak in the knees and flustered, which causes Ariake to start shrieking. WHY ARE YOU JEALOUS OF A CHILD!! HE'S LIKE 12! Anyways. As they lose space, Oosaki decides to just carry both Hinode and Shinbashi on his shoulders and in his arms. Shinbashi refuses at first, but Oosaki whips out his persuasive charisma.

Oosaki: Please trust me. If you let me embrace you, I will never let go. I would never allow you to get hurt.

WHO SAYS THIS!? Shinbashi's heart skips a beat, and he reluctantly gives in to Oosaki's protective embrace. In a way, these were likely words he'd always wanted to hear, so it easily melts through all his defenses. This also of course results in Ariake being upset beyond all reason but TOO BAD!!

Eventually, team Oosaki wins due to how their team is now essentially one person versus two. Toyosu almost trips, but Takeshiba catches him! Everyone is getting along so well! Wow! The mood is jovial and happy and the spirit of cooperation thrives amongst them thanks to the power of playing stupid minigames. Filled with the spirit of friendship, Takeshiba decides to confess to the existence of Funeno's boat that he found with Aomi and entrusts the decision making to Oosaki. Again, Aomi seems displeased with things progressing without his input, but he decides to keep to himself. The entire group cooperates in finding the boat and fueling it, and they all don't even argue when deciding that Oosaki should be the one to drive the boat. At the last second, Takeshiba requests to go with him, to which Oosaki accepts. He brings some kind of wooden plank, saying that he can row if they run out of gas. Sure...

Once the boat is in the middle of the ocean, Takeshiba reveals that he was waiting for this moment. Clinging to Oosaki all cute like... but he can't afford to have his crimes exposed, because he has to stay a good father to his baby girl back home.... Huh...? TAKESHIBA IS A FATHER??? He talks a bit about himself, telling Oosaki that he was actually born from a snake woman in a freak show theater troupe. He was raised as a spectacle along with others by the troupe leader there before getting sick of it and setting the whole house on fire. He turned his life around, and now wants to have a clean slate for his daughter... Apparently he converted to Christianity because God will accept him even if he's like this. As long as you pray you'll be okay! Totally. I don't think that's how it works, but okay.

He pulls a knife to kill Oosaki, but is quickly overpowered. I have no idea what he expected. Oosaki lectures him a bit on how running from his crimes and pulling shit like this is not going to make him a good role model for his daughter, and manages to convince him to become obedient again. Either that or Takeshiba is just entering suck up mode again to survive. Honestly anything is possible at this point.

After everyone is rescued and the case wraps up, everyone disperses. Even Ariake! Apparently seeing Oosaki being such a goodie two shoes turned him off a bit, and that his love for Oosaki has died down... The rest of the group quickly skedaddle as they really don't want to stay involved. All besides Takeshiba and Shinbashi, who decide to stay in contact with Oosaki in order to properly hire him to look into who the fuck planned this little incident. Not that Takeshiba has any money. But he seems to want a reason to stay in contact...

Oosaki reports what happened to Shizuma, who know has set up an atelier at his family villa where his brother and nephew died?? Following up on the medical records lead, he asks Shizuma if he ever confessed his crime to a psychiatrist. And apparently he did. In a joking tone, Shizuma tells him that after the incident, he would constantly hallucinate the bloated faces of his brother and nephew in the water whenever he took a bath. But the psychiatrist had no answers for him and simply recommended he move to a bigger hospital. So he didn't! Haha! Oosaki asks him if he has any semblance of guilt towards what happened and Shizuma just laughs at him, saying he doesn't... Bruh...

Shizuma in his new fuckass shirt

He also tells Oosaki that he was indeed the one who killed them, and that he actually really hated his brother. Apparently when they first met, his older brother was delighted and told him he'd always wanted to meet him and be like real brothers. So Shizuma decided to hate and kill him. Just because his existence made him unhappy. And he took his nephew down too because it would be sad to leave a child fatherless. Uhh... hmm. I feel there's more to this story Shizuma is not telling us, but this is Takeshiba's route so Oosaki doesn't feel inclined to pry.

Shizuma continues to act clingy and dropping hints that he doesn't want Oosaki to leave, but Oosaki does not give a fuck and leaves him alone in his empty villa next to the lake where his brother and nephew drowned. Okay... I think bro is lonely.

Oosaki later meets up for dinner with Shinbashi and Takeshiba, where he reports his findings. There really aren't any good leads, so Shinbashi decides to leave. They have some funny banter where Takeshiba tries to convince him to stay since he ordered sukiyaki, but sadly it isn't effective. When the sukiyaki hotpot arrives however, Oosaki soon realizes that it's not what one would think of when they say sukiyaki at all... By sukiyaki, Takeshiba meant suki as in 'like', as in it's just an ingredient he LIKES. IT'S NOT BEEF. ITS SEAHORSE??? "Seahorse is actually very good for men's health~", Takeshiba insists, but... Oosaki doesn't want to eat it. Still, if he doesn't eat, it would make Takeshiba look even more pitiful than he already is, eating alone with so many dishes... In the end, he does eat it, and while it's not terrible, it's still not enjoyable. Takeshiba begins rambling about how male seahorses carry their young while the females go off and do whatever. "Doesn't this resemble humans a little too much!? Haha!" Does it...?

Anyways, Takeshiba gets piss drunk and Oosaki tries to take him home. He even almost vomits at one point, but swallows it down in his mouth because he doesn't want to waste the expensive seahorse. Wow... Oosaki ends up carrying him, and Takeshiba begins to open up about his cute daughter Shigeko, who apparently is a random Wasian baby that he took in after her mother abandoned her. She's 5 years old... He wants to work hard so he can give her a normal family... She's deaf, so he's been learning sign language to communicate with her... Apparently he lost custody of her because the priest he confessed his troubles to was also in charge of the church babies school that she was being taught at. Wow. He has nobody waiting for him back home..

With the shift in mood, he starts saying some completely out of pocket things. He makes a 'joke' where the punchline is just confessing that he's impotent??? Very funny??? What. He also tells Oosaki that there's something wrong with him as he can only get excited when with a man... and that apparently he has a lot of experience using his thighs... What...? Is he trying to seduce Oosaki. Regardless, Oosaki himself has no idea what's going on here, and simply decides to let Takeshiba rest at a local hotel since it starts raining. Takeshiba continues to drop about 40 hints that he wants to fuck Oosaki, so Oosaki decides to go take a bath alone at the hotel's outdoor bath, concerned that Takeshiba was just acting up because he's drunk. Takeshiba however just follows him to the bath, and 'accidentally' slips and falls on him, revealing that his ass is GINORMOUS?? WHERE WERE YOU HIDING THAT DUMP TRUCK. WHAT THE HELL...

He uses some absolutely ridiculous lines, like telling Oosaki that he wants his help to cure his impotency... or that he actually has a crush on a local waitress, and needs practice kissing so he won't flub things with her... What...? Are you actually being serious right now?? Oosaki was just bewildered at first, but hearing that hurts his feelings. It would be one thing if Takeshiba was coming onto him because he lked him, but USING HIM AS PRACTICE?? FOR A WOMAN!? NO!!! Oosaki tells him that if he wants practice, he'll have to pay him a consultation fee. This evidently damps Takeshiba's mood, and he feels silly for trying to buy sex when he's literally dirt poor, but even when he tries to kiss Oosaki, he struggles to.

BECAUSE HE HAS SEVERE PTSD! GREAT! Apparently whenever he tries to kiss, he starts seeing things and feels like someone is watching him, causing him to break into a sweat. He tells Oosaki that it's probably because when he was little, the freak show he grew up at would pass him around as the family whore to satisfy the needs of the group. HUH?????? Okay he was completely justified in setting them all on fire, damn. Whether it's because he feels sorry for him or because he's attracted to how pathetic Takeshiba is, Oosaki finally puts the moves on him and makes out with him. For some reason, swapping spit with Oosaki helps Takeshiba forget about the eyes he tends to hallucinate... wow. He also abruptly says "did you know my first kiss was with the guy I'd call dad, the troupe leader?" NOBODY ASKED! What the hell... He also mentions that his nipples are sensitive and that his troupe dad used to rub them as a 'reward' for good behavior. Uh... that's genuinely just fucked up? Anyways, he asks Oosaki to close his eyes so he can imagine a girl he likes instead of an old man like him, but Oosaki tells him he has no imagination and would prefer to stare at what's in front of him anyways. Smooth...

Takeshiba also ends up confessing that he'd actually had an eye on Oosaki ever since they first met in that outdoor bath on Ooejima... Yes... because he saw Oosaki's ginormous gigadick... Just looking at it he had the feeling that that thing would be the one that could cure his impotency... Oosaki feels a little subconscious, as he had been very self conscious about his ginormous dick ever since he was little. Apparently he lost his foreskin too, so the shape feels wrong compared to other people. In fact his dick is his second biggest insecurity next to his burnt palms. Wow... Upon wondering why he's getting so excited, Takeshiba also confesses that seahorse was 'good for men's health' in the way that one would need for a situation like this. He actually wanted to jump his bones from the beginning, so in a way, this was a plotted poisoning. Oosaki's reason tells him to drop Takeshiba and go back inside, but his logic begins to twist, and he finds himself unable to leave. Takeshiba tries to show off his peachy soft lustrous thighs that are so good at rubbing people off, and tells Oosaki that his rear hole is actually still virgin, miraculously enough. So he fucks Takeshiba so hard that he cures his impotency... not just that but he even pisses himself. Wow... They then go back to the hotel room to do it again. Wow...

The next morning, Takeshiba is super excited at their successful night, and tells Oosaki that he's going to rush straight to the restaurant to confess to his waitress crush with his newfound courage. Oosaki is INCREDIBLY pissed off at this. He even starts wondering to himself, why am I getting so upset...? Why is this bothering so much...? WHAT DO YOU THINK, STUPID. He then clings to Takeshiba and prevents him from leaving, so Takeshiba of course is like aww you have a cute side too huh ~ <3 <3333 Actually, Takeshiba uses a LOT of hearts in his dialogue during these scenes. Like... Wow...

THE END

Wow...

According to post route notes, apparently the waitress was part of a honey trap though, and Takeshiba almost dies. Luckily Oosaki was there to save his life... His life couldn't possibly get worse, could it. Also, apparently his Christian beliefs are all totally wrong because he can barely read and misunderstood most of the bible that the church gave him. Makes sense. This has got to be the stupidest man in this game. But he's also so... very cute.. and sultry.. wow... With an ass like that he's like the Kim K of Ooejima... wow... Juxtaposed against how genuinely terrible his life is, it really makes him all that more attractive I think.

Another extra post route note is that apparently ever since Takeshiba fell in love at first sight (with Oosaki's monster cock), he truly locked the fuck on. He only started acting up and swinging in each route after Oosaki did something to break his heart... I genuinely can't belive it... his priorities are actually completely out of wack. Takeshiba clearly suffers from some severe psychiatric issues and needs help. I love him though. I'm sure Oosaki can fix him somewhat.

Anyways, I heard discussion that Takeshiba's traumatic backstory was likely inspired by infamous manga Shoujo Tsubaki. There are definitely some similarities.

SHIODOME ROUTE

This route branches on the first day of the memorial, after they find Funeno's body in the bonfire and a fuss breaks out. Instead of deciding to solve the mystery of who killed Funeno, Oosaki decides to stay in his lane and not get involved.

With nobody to accuse him of murder, Shiodome continues to spin a story that this was all the work of evil spirits and the like, and that they're at risk of being haunted by ghosts if they don't follow a traditional Ooejima sea burial and toss Funeno's body into the sea. Sure... let's pretend you aren't just trying to dispose of the body to hide your CRIME!! The old men immediately start acting like they have horrible arthritis, so that leaves it to the younger men to help carry Funeno's body to the pier on the back of the island where they toss it into the sea. After that, most of the group return to the inn while Shiodome, Oosaki, and Shinbashi decide to 'clean up' Funeno's room.

There, they find his invitation, which of course contains the charges against Daiba Shizuma. Shiodome immediately realizes he killed the wrong man, while Shinbashi immediately starts mockingly saying things like "Ohh I thought you were just here as a representative of your DADDY Mr. DAIBA SHIZUMA! WELL LOOK WHAT WE HAVE HERE HMM!??" Etc etc. Oosaki is left feeling like he's been completely scammed by Shizuma. Was he just sent here as a sacrifice, to be killed in his place...?

Anyways, be it to distract the group, to obfuscate his crime, or because it's actual trivia, Shiodome talks more about how if the ceremony is successful than Funeno's soul will rest in peace. But if not, they will start seeing green and be haunted and plagued by nightmares. Oosaki, unfortunately plagued by guilt for finding himself in his current situation, does indeed dream of green.

Shinbashi wakes Oosaki up and tells him to meet him outside at the crack of dawn, or else he'll reveal the truth of those charges to everyone. With no choice, Oosaki does so, and follows Shinbashi out to the back of the island where they tossed Funeno's body... Oosaki asks Shinbashi if he plans to kill and silence him or something, but seems he isn't. For now that is. Oosaki tries to admit that he's actually a detective, but obviously Shinbashi is skeptical. Still, he decides to play along a bit, and tells Oosaki if he really is an innocent bystander, then he clearly has no reason to help keep his mouth shut about them all getting rid of Funeno together. That's why he wants to check if the body didn't wash back to shore... which of course... it did...

He hands Oosaki an axe and tells him to dismember the corpse before tossing it back to sea. Doing something like that will make him very much complicit, thus forcing him to cooperate! However, Shinbashi is surprised when Oosaki just obediently begins hacking Funeno down into small portions. Poor Shinbashi vomits at the sight and after the job is done quickly gets out of there. I don't think Oosaki made a good impression on him here. During the entire act however, Oosaki is actually scared shitless. He may have a cool exterior, but the guilt is eating him alive from the inside.

With the sun starting to rise, Oosaki heads straight for the outdoor bath at Yaegaki to wash off the sweat and corpse germs. Suddenly, Shiodome appears completely naked and jumps into the bath. Apparently Ariake had heard from Shinbashi about Oosaki's going to take a bath and left a note on his door about it, which Shiodome witnessed. Thus he came to chill out with him. They shoot the shit about random crap, and Shiodome talks about how he'd always wanted to come to Ooejima before, since he was born on Aogashima which is one of the islands next door. Apparently he was born to a family of traditional shamans, but his dad had no talent at it so he left for the mainland to find work. He lost everything however, and Shiodome was left orphaned because of it. That's when his teacher found him and took him in... Still, someday he dreams of going back to Aogashima to become a real shaman, since he has such a strong 6th sense!

Eventually they get to the pier to meet up with the gang, but as we know that damn boat isn't coming. Everyone kinda on edge and Oosaki still doing zero detectiving, instead plagued by his guilt over his actions in the past 12 hours. Eventually he heads back to Yaegaki, and finds everyone in a bit of a kerfuffle. Both Hinode and Shiodome claim to have seen a shadow upstairs! Everyone's scared out of their minds, and of course, Shiodome is insistent that it must be a supernatural ghost of some sort. Ever the brave ones, Aomi and Oosaki go upstairs to investigate. In the corner of his eye, Oosaki sees a hulking figure sweep across the floor and into one of the rooms, so he quickly gives chase. The shadow then hides in a closet, but when he opens it, all he finds is Funeno's severed arm... The shock causes him to collapse, and Aomi comes in and asks him to explain what's going on.

He can't explain himself, since like how the heck would an arm get here.. but what Aomi is really asking is what the fuck he's talking about, since there was no shadow and there is no arm. Oosaki is hallucinating. That's not good, is it. Oosaki wonders if what he saw was Funeno's ghost, and of course Shiodome immediately agrees. Since three people saw the shadow, it must have been real! They're being haunted by Funeno's ghost! The ritual must have failed! He then asks where Shinbashi and Oosaki were slinking off to that morning, and gets Oosaki to confess that Funeno's body had returned to the shore so he retossed it into the ocean. Shiodome starts freaking out, claiming that he had messed up the ceremony and that soon they would all be horribly cursed. And the first sign of the curse, would be that the sky would appear green to those affected...

Shiodome drags Oosaki outside, and lo and behold, EVERYTHING IS GREEN! WOW! Oosaki starts having what may as well be some sort of panic attack, as he starts becoming extremely out of touch with reality. His senses are jumbled and he struggles to think straight. Shiodome reassures him that he will help them! Thanks Shiodome you're always so reliable. From the corners of his senses it seems like chaos is breaking out amongst the group, but he drifts further away into nothing as he relies on Shiodome.

Shiodome drags Oosaki back into Yaegaki and locks themselves in the kitchen. In his current state, Oosaki struggles to tell how much time has passed and what the fuck is going on. He then hears banging on the door, as Ariake begs him to open it., claiming to have been shot. Shiodome tells him that it's not the real Ariake, but a fake ghost here to trick him. Oosaki tries to use some critical thinking to decide which among the two is acting stranger, but even if he recognizes that Shiodome is the more suspicious one, something about his reassuring tone convinces Oosaki to ignore the signs.

The last thing he hears is Ariake screaming "You're an inhumane monster!" before the sound of gunshots. Then silence. Oosaki thinks to himself how he really is a monster... it's true... (If you remember, he has a complex about that)

Time passes as he drifts in and out of consciousness. Maybe even days. But the entire time, he feels the warmth of Shiodome embracing him. Eventually the cops arrive and Oosaki's daddy rushes in, but rather than relief, his face twists into one of disgust. It makes a very strong impression on Oosaki. Thinking back, the only thing he can remember clearly in those days of darkness was Shiodome whispering to him, "can I have a bite?" OF COURSE YOU CAN BABYGIRL! Just kidding, I don't think Oosaki consented at all, but he doesn't seem upset about it either.

Oosaki is rescued and hospitalized for severe malnutrition, and he apparently has had his eye and ear eaten off. Everyone else on the island besides Shiodome is dead, though Hinode and the priest are just missing. Apparently Ariake Shinbashi and Shijoumae were found shot to death in Yaegaki, while Aomi and Takeshiba stabbed each other to death by the hidden boat.

After some months, Oosaki goes to pay Shizuma a visit at his villa in order to give his thanks, bringing his babygirl Shiodome along. Shiodome still has a habit of doing creepy laughs, but he quiets down when Oosaki shushes him. He's been domesticated.......... Shizuma claims to find the pair funny and acts all chill, but it's kinda apparent that he finds this result concerning. He wonders if Oosaki resents him for going through all that, but Oosaki doesn't seem to care at all... Shizuma also reveals that he did a lot of research, and assumes that what happened on the island was likely caused by mass hysteria orchestrated by Shiodome. He also digs up on how Shiodome had supposedly pushed his adopted father to his death when they went hiking together... Shiodome is dangerous. "I could excorcise Shiodome without leaving a single trace. If you'd like, I'll get rid of him for you."

Sadly all Oosaki says in response is how thankful he is to Shizuma for having given him the opportunity to meet Shiodome. Wow.. okay. Shizuma is very disappointed, and seems very regretful that things turned out like this. He bids him one last goodbye... I'll miss you too Shizuma.

Anyways, Oosaki has cut ties with his family and quit his detective career. He plans to move to Aogashima with Shiodome where they'll start a new life and fulfill Shiodome's childhood dream of becoming a miko there... He'll do anything for his babygirl <3

On the boat to Aogashima, Shiodome's still pouting a bit over their meeting with Shizuma... Of course Oosaki says he don't give a fuck about him and only visited so that they could properly cut ties, but Shiodome could instantly sus out that Shizuma LIKES Oosaki. EVERYONE Likes Oosaki... Oosaki is loved by just about everyone. Shizuma looked at Oosaki with such deep kindness in his eyes... But the only person Oosaki wants to treasure right now is his babygirl Shiodome.

While talking, Shiodome reveals the true story of what happened with his dad. Apparently he loved his adopted dad very much and always wanted to be together, but one day while taking a hike, dad suddenly started talking about how they should separate so Shiodome could be more independent and live his own life. Obviously Shiodome took this very badly, and he ended up accidentally pushing him off the cliff or something. The memories bring him to tears, as he still wants to know what his professor really wanted from him. Because he really loved his professor daddy... Poor baby is afraid that Oosaki will throw him away like his daddy did... but luckily Oosaki's fucking crazy now so he is dedicated to loving his new wife.

Oosaki thinks that Shiodome's professor was actually dumb as hell, trying to force Shiodome to fit into regular society when it's clear that Shiodome is not human, but a demon! He should be allowed to be himself without being bound by the constraints of human social rules! Oosaki is committed to taking care of his little demon that that stupid professor clearly failed at. In a way, I get that. Shiodome is definitely different from regular people, but regardless of that he's still a sweet baby angel at his core... The professor should have taken a different approach perhaps...

Since Oosaki has his bizarre complex about being a demon or monster, he feels like he and Shiodome can be the only demons in this world, thus being the only people who can truly understand each other. He also explains Shiodome's eating of his ear and eyes as a natural childish instinct, like an animals young seeking food from it's caregiver. Shiodome wants someone who's devoted to him... someone who can love him like beasts do... Since they're obviously beasts or demons or whatever and not humans! Makes sense!

Anyways, they end up getting tangled in a lot of hugging and kissing and sexing, and for whatever reason they do a lot of discussing of wanting to eat each other during it. Like literally. Both of them lovingly confirm that whoever dies first will be eaten by the other. Aww how sweet! Also I don't think Shiodome knows what sex is...? He seemed kind of confused during it but well... whatever. Anyways he loves holding hands and kisses~ <3 And hugs <3 Yay~! Also he has an outie... wow...

What's also funny is that literally while fucking Oosaki flashbacks to his coworker Shinagawa having a mental breakdown and trying to kill his wife. FOCUS!!! WTF ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT... But yeah, Oosaki had to literally cut ties with his family and elope since nobody accepted his relationship with Shiodome.

Anyways, they get to Aogashima to live their happily ever after~ Shiodome also suddenly hears a message from Oosaki's dead grandma, and relays to him that she seems to still love him, and killed herself not because of him, but because of regular suicidal ideation I suppose. Apparently she chose the day of the air raids in hopes of obfuscating her cause of death, but Oosaki accidentally found her... Oops! Either way, she doesn't hate him. Oosaki is actually shellshocked, since he genuinely did not actually put much belief into supernatural phenomenon at this point. He never told Shiodome about any of these details, so this is genuine proof... His wife is a genuine spiritual miko... wow... Either way, he cries happy tears... They gonna be living happily together <3

THE END!

I find it funny the menu is temporarily green after seeing this ending

Wow... okay even if literally everyone except these two were left dead or miserable, it was kind of surprisingly sweet??? Like their relationship is completely dysfunctional, but... it's cute?? In Shiodome's profile notes, it also mentions that he actually becomes extremely successful as a Miko... He's also defying gender norms as a male miko!? Wow... I'm so proud of him. I've already seen a lot of fanart of him in cute miko clothes and he is so adorable.

Also, completing this it becomes evident that this is Shiodome's B END! WHICH MEANS HE STILL HAS A GOOD ENDING ON THE WAY... But when does that unlock? We will just have to find out.

SHIJOUMAE ROUTE

Uh oh... That's right. We closing in on old people territory...

This route branches pretty deep into the common route. Around the time where Shinbashi held a vote to have Ariake executed and they have him drugged up in the baths, instead of kidnapping him and running away, Oosaki decides to beg Shijoumae for clemency. Shijoumae immediately starts to comfort Oosaki and insist that he never intended to kill Ariake from the start! This was just a test of sorts! Oosaki is already kind of reaching an emotional rock bottom, so he just accepts that at face value.

Shinbashi soon bursts in with the invitation that Ariake had slipped into Oosaki's bag while wielding his gun. He starts insisting that this was evidence that Oosaki's a liar and was truly Daiba Shizuma all along etc blablabla. He's about to start shooting when Shijoumae intervenes, insisting that he can just use drugs to get the truth out of Ariake. They put him into a drugged up state where he admits to having put the envelope there, since he wanted to cause problems between Oosaki and Shinbashi. With the truth out, Shijoumae injects the rest of his anaesthetic to put Ariake back to sleep. However, it seems it was a little too much, and instead of sleeping, Ariake straight up dies. Oops!

Oosaki is left completely unconsolable. He accuses Shijoumae of being a quack and starts punching the ground until his fists bleed, crying over the loss of his new best oomfie beautiful innocent Ariake-san. For whatever reason, his consciousness seems to end up fading.

He eventually wakes up in one of the rooms in Yaegaki, and it seems like Shijoumae had been treating him. He even hands Oosaki a crane that Hinode folded for him so he could get better! Aww! He also has food to feed Oosaki with! Apparently Shinbashi felt bad for the kerfuffle, and offered some of his hidden food! Wow, sounds extremely strange of him to do such a thing but that's nice. Oosaki notices some strange injection marks on his arm and assumes it must be bug bites. I don't think bug bites look like that but okay.

While taking care of him, Shijoumae goes on a long tangent about his beautiful wife who he loves. Apparently she's a painter who used to work at some sort of call center. When he had a call with her she had prophesized that one day his brilliance would paint over everything around him?? Something like that. He was so shooked that he ran all the way to the call center location to propose to her, as he wanted her by his side until the prophecy came true. What...? They've been happily together ever since, though she tends to do her own thing and doesn't give a fuck if he out doing whatever for months on end. That's why she probably doesn't miss him even now that he's trapped on an island. But he doesn't mind <3 Um... okay...

He also gives a long talk about his experience in The War and how all the soldiers were passionate on the frontline and morale stayed high even when they were losing. How they'd scrounge for scraps to survive for their country and found beauty in the little things, like the flowers in the forest. I think he also went on a tangent about how he feels responsible for saving people's lives and how dying on the battlefield isn't even a bad thing. When someone dies in his care, it's like they're passing their feelings onto him! Isn't that nice? Oosaki doesn't quite really understand what the fuck he's going on about but whatever. At some point Shijoumae even picks what I believe was a tsubaki blossom (I don't remember for sure) and gives it to Oosaki since it's pretty <3

Later they finally head down to the pier together, but for some reason nobody is here! Wonder where they went! As time passes, Oosaki begins to get increasingly concerned. He decides to head back to Mikazuki to look around, and finds it completely empty... He looks at the tsubaki flower he'd tucked into his shirt pocket, and recalls the garden at Mikazuki that had some tsubaki blossoms, where he used to see Shinbashi hang around. Upon getting there, its still empty, but he finds something strange about the well... Upon opening it, for some reason he sees a bunch of bodies inside! Curious!

Just to be absolutely sure, he climbs inside of the well and slowly inches downwards while clinging to the well walls. I have no idea why he'd do something so unbelievably risky but okay. At the bottom, he finds that it is indeed the corpses of the remaining ex-survivors, including HINODE. First time confirmed Hinode death for real... bruh he's only 14... Having his priorities in order, Oosaki focuses on retrieving Ariake's body to take with him, but upon looking up, he sees Shijoumae looking down at him... Worried he was going to close the well on him, he gets scared for a second, but strangely enough the old fuck helps him out instead. He asks what Oosaki was doing down there and well... what do you think old man.

Oosaki digs through Ariake's things to find his invitation... and comes to a realization... The person who put Ariake up to sneaking an invitation into Oosaki's bag was Shijoumae all along... He was the one who instigated everything... He claimed Ariake's death to be an accident, but what if it was premeditated? After getting everyone's guard down, wouldn't it have been simple to inject everyone else with muscle relaxant as well? And he had kept the strongest person around, Oosaki, out of commission for who knows how long by carefully administering just the right amount of drugs to keep him knocked out. This explains how he had Shinbashi's food, since that tsundere would NEVER share. Oosaki asks Shijoumae who folded the paper crane he claimed was from Hinode, and Shiojumae tells him that of course it was Hinode! The Hinode inside of Shijoumae! Erm...

It turns out that Shijoumae has some absolutely insane beliefs? That people are born either good or evil. They can't choose to be unborn, so even if evil, they'll enter this world! Shijoumae believes it's just doing the right thing to abort these kinds of lives when he sees them, and isn't everyone here besides Oosaki an evil sinner? So he didn't do anything wrong! He simply aborted them and takes on their memories so they can live on better in his heart <3 Something like that. To no one's surprise, Oosaki takes all this extremely badly. He denounces Shijoumae as a heartless monster and ties him up.

He believes that Shijoumae's plan all along was probably to coerce Oosaki into swimming to the next island over since he's the only one who'd be even remotely physically capable of doing such a thing. Borderline suicidal, he decides to start swimming while entertaining the thought of just drowning and leaving Shijoumae to die on the island, but strangely enough he sees a boat in the distance. Even though he felt it could see him, it even passes him by... The world must want him dead, damn... As he keeps swimming he quickly loses strength, but at some point he hears a voice... The boat returns, and aboard it, is Shijoumae! He's come to pick up Oosaki! Wow!

Oosaki immediately decides to start drowning instead. Anything would be better than taking that bastard's hand. Sadly enough, Shijoumae dives into the water to save Oosaki, since it would be a great loss for the country for such a strong and virile young man to die here. He's one of the GOOD ones after all. After the war, man people in Japan have become weak, but Oosaki is youthful and strong! Shijoumae believes men like him need to live on! He then STABS OOSAKI??? Okay... sure.

Some time later, Oosaki wakes up in the hospital. Apparently Shijoumae had been tending to him, and an entire story was spun for the police and stuff that obviously Shijoumae was innocent and upstanding and just saving Oosaki who got stabbed by some evildoer. Wow... At his bedside, Shijoumae starts talkinga bout more bizarre stories. About how Ooe An was actually murdered since her body had no smoke in her lungs after being recovered from the fire. Sus. She also had a series of abortions apparently... very very sus. Why is he even going on about this right now. Anywyas, Oosaki asks Shijoumae why the fuck he killed everyone, but Shijoumae still insists that he didn't kill anyone. He just treated them as any doctor should. Treated the evil out of them... ya.

Oosaki becomes increasingly convinced that this guy probably wants to abort him too while he's still in a state of mental weakness. But unluckily for Shijoumae, Oosaki is more fucking PISSED than any other emotion. He decides that the only thing he can do to truly hurt this bastard is to take the one thing he has left. His pride and dignity. He smacks Shijoumae around a bit before tying him to the bed and stripping his clothes off... yes that's right... Oosaki doing what he's best at I suppose...

He brutally assaults Shijoumae, and while very upset about the whole thing at first, Shijoumae seems to get off on it regardless. Concerning. Meanwhile I'm just completely distracted by this old man's ginormous milkers... what in tarnation.. Ahem, anyways.. what.

After everything's done with, Oosaki tells him to go call for help or whatever and leaves him tied to the bed. He then heads straight to the hospital roof so he can jump off and kill himself. But before he can do it, someone grabs him from behind and he hears a familiar voice... SHIZUMA! WHAT IS HE DOING HERE...

Oosaki get's upset, since if it was his dad or coworker he could easily push them away, but for some reason he can't with Shizuma... Big brother Shizuma tells him that it would be a complete waste for Oosaki to die because of an old man like that. And that if he died, Shizuma would be so shocked he wouldn't be able to keep on living. Wow... Why is Shizuma so concerned about Oosaki... much to think about.

After all that, Oosaki does indeed stop trying to kill himself, but he never sees Shizuma again... Where are you... Anyways, instead, Oosaki continues to be lowkey obsessed with Shijoumae. He continues to investigate him and tries to expose his heinous crimes, but literally nobody takes poor Oosaki seriously. After a year or so, Shijoumae's hot evil wife calls Oosaki up just to make fun of him??? Damn. She also tells him that she's jealous that her hubby still thinks of Oosaki all the time. She also tells Oosaki that she's on vacation, so if he visits now, her husband will be alone and vulnerable. Is she telling him to go rape her husband...???? Cuck wife???? What...  She seems positive that Oosaki's not going to kill him. Anyways, she definitely gives the energy of a dominant manipulative evil woman.

Concerningly enough, she also mentions that Oosaki was the one who was once employed by 'Sukekiyo'. That's Shizuma's brothers name though... Hmm... Regardless, she says that she was the one who taught the two how to paint back in the day. Interesting. When she's said her piece she just hangs up. Oosaki is left aimlessly chasing Shijoumae still... He even frequently dreams about raping him... wow... this is the most dysfunctional relationship ever. Is it even a relationship. What is this.

THE END!

Bruh... I don't really have much thoughts about this except for how fat this guys tits were. Wow... Anyways fun facts, apparently Shijoumae's hot wife is five years older than him, and she's a whopping 2 meters tall... She towering over everyone damn... They're also in a sexless marriage because Shijoumae is gay busy all the time. But she seems to be satisfied as a cuck wife so I guess everyone wins? I don't know.

Anyways from this point on it becomes progressively more unclear who's route the next unlocked route belongs to so I'll keep it a mystery as well.  Or maybe it is totally clear and I was just dumb as hell. Anyways this post is reflecting my own experience so deal with it.

??? ROUTE

Spoiler: If you really want to know it's (highlight to see) Shiodome A Route.

This route branches around after everyone locks Shiodome in the bath room on the first night after Oosaki solved Funeno's murder case. His detectiving tells him that it's best not to leave the mystery of the broken phones untouchd, since evidence proves that it likely wasn't Shiodome who did it...

He tells the group that he actually has a means of fixing the phone at Mikazuki, as it's damage was not as severe as Yaegaki's phone. Apparently if he dismantles the record player Shiodome brought, he should be able to use the parts to return the phone to a servicable state. The group questions how the fuck he could do that, so Oosaki lies and says he used to work as an engineer. Sure... But he's not... so what is he plotting...?

Since the repairs will likely take all night, he requests that the group all stay at Yaegaki while he takes Shiodome with him to keep as a living alarm clock, seeing as how he is so annoying that it would make it impossible to fall asleep on the job. Evidently everyone finds this suggestion very concerning, particularly Ariake who does not want to let Oosaki alone with another twink, but in the end everyone lets him do what he wants. Out of concern, Toyosu helps tie Shiodome's legs so he can't run. Oosaki throws him over his shoulder and carries him to Mikazuki like a sack of rice...

Shiodome is the happiest at this turn of events, since being alone with Oosaki all the way over at Mikazuki should be the perfect chance to escape, right!? Anywayas, while Oosaki beings attempt repairs he and Shiodome chat about this and that. Being the polite lad he is, he is quite cordial towards Shiodome, and the twink starts to think that Oosaki isn't so bad... Feeling more comfortable and being a yapper by nature, he confesses in full detail what exactly happened to lead him to killing Funeno.

Apparently, he'd set up the whole trap as just an attempt to spook him in order to try to have a discussion later on about the invitations. The cyanide in the sleeping pills was meant for a 'just in case' last resort if discussions fell through, since obviously he'd only take them at night right... He didn't expect Funeno to get as freaked out as he did or that he would take them right away... Oops. Shiodome didn't really expect things to turn out this way at all, so from then on he was just trying to fix his flubs on the fly.

That's when the power abruptly cuts out. In the darkness, Shiodome laughs and immediately makes a break for it while teasing Oosaki for not checking his restraints properly. Seems Toyosu did a real shit job on tying up his legs. He runs so fast no normal person could catch him... luckily, Oosaki is beyond abnormal and easily recaptures him. Shiodome is shooked and kind of scared by how fast Oosaki is, and soon finds himself tied back up as Oosaki takes a smoke break while using him as a chair.

Shiodome is obviously upset, and he starts moping because he finds Oosaki difficult and unreadable. Why did he even bring him here... to which Oosaki tells him he brought him because he wants to get to know him better... This perks Shiodome up quite a bit as he gets shy all of a sudden. Don't tell me... this is Shiodome's A route isn't it.

Now having become extremely compliant, Oosaki easily extracts more information out of Shiodome. Apparently he knew the layout of Mikazuki so well because on the first day when he arrived on Ooejima with Hinode, they found themselves at Mikazuki first. He got lost wandering around Funeno and ended up finding his room, and also finally found Funeno using the phone while speaking politely to someone named 'Sukekiyo'... Hmm, concerning. How many people named Sukekiyo are there... isn't this a little too suspicious? Was Shijoumae's hot wife right, and Shizuma is actually Sukekiyo...? Well there are some things we are just not going to know for now.

Suddenly, Ariake walks up to them, shocked at the current state of affairs. Oosaki however does not want to waste the energy explaining why he's sitting on Shiodome, and instead just asks what Ariake's doing here. Since the power went out at Yaegaki too, he'd come over to bring candles as he was concerned about Oosaki. And because he's deeply in love with im obviously but whatever. He insists on wanting to help Oosaki in some way, and seeing the passionate fervor in his eyes, Oosaki decides to trust him and include him in his secret plot. He tells Ariake to go back to the inn and tell everyone else that repairs are going well... and to do one more favor for him after that... Hmm...

He continues working on the phone with the now compliant Shiodome, and he starts trying to deduce what's really going on on this island. Who set it all up... how guilty is the ever suspicious Shizuma... what is going on... But then he notices someone watching them. He turns and finds Toyosu around the corner...!? What's he doing here?

Toyosu claims to have brought even more candles, but Oosaki already knows that the only reason anyone would come right now is to stop the repairs of the phone. AKA Toyosu is the mastermind. With his identity revealed, he pulls a gun and shoots Oosaki. Ouch! Even though he's buff as hell, sadly Oosaki is not bullet proof. The old man moves in to finish Oosaki off with a knife, but Shiodome jumps in the way! Apparently Oosaki retied his legs in a way that would easily fall apart if he tried, and he had faith that the hyperactive Shiodome would realize and make an escape. But... he didn't escape did he. Why did Shiodome take a knife for him...

Soon, the entire group appears and apprehends Toyosu. Apparently the favor Oosaki had Ariake do was to have the group follow the next person to leave Yaegaki. Now everyone knows Toyosu is the culprit! Toyosu says a lot of cryptic shit and then tells Oosaki that he has two choices. He can either make the 'correct' choice and live on, or make the WRONG choice and have no regrets. What do that mean? He then kills himself. Great...

Oosaki concludes that what he meant was that the correct choice in this case is the live on with regrets, and the wrong choice would be to die satisfied. Much to ponder. There's probably more extensive meaning to this line, seeing as how this game has a 'correct' and 'wrong' sfx every time you pick an option. From what I gather, most B routes for example have you select a choice with the 'wrong' sfx. Hmm. Anyways.

Even though Oosaki bleeding out, he tells everyone he did manage to reconnect the wires on the phone needed for it to work, so Ariake immediately calls the police for help. Everyone is saved! Except Funeno who's always dead I guess. Rip him.

Oosaki is hospitalized for a while and Shiodome goes to jail for killing Funeno. Everyone else just goes their separate ways... After getting discharged, Oosaki goes out of his way to visit Shiodome at the detention center. Apparently he wants to do what he can to help reduce Shiodome's sentence. The crime was committed sorta under duress after all and he's just a sweet babygirl who meant no harm. Or I mean he meant harm but like... the situation was unique okay.

Anyways, Oosaki did some digging and finds evidence Ace Attorney end of a chapter style to prove to Shidome that his professor daddy really did love him. Seems during their little kerfuffle during their mountain hike, both of them had slipped off together, and professor daddy died protecting Shiodome by holding him in his arms... would someone who hated his baby son do such a thing? NO! And yeah we'll just gloss over the taking a nibble out of him part Shiodome may have done. Oosaki even found some of Shiodome's cute baby pictures amidst the professor's things... only someone who really loved his baby boy would keep such a wholesome photo collection. Finally convinced, Shiodome starts crying... He always wanted to know what the heck his dad was trying to convey to him that day, and Oosaki finally helps him understand... Daddy loved him, and he'd just kinda misunderstood him at that time... Oops! After this, Shiodome is truly touched by Oosaki's kindness... and maybe even falls in love... doki. Oosaki tells Shiodome to be a good boy so he can get out of jail early, and being a good boy, he complies. <3

On his way out, Oosaki then encounters a wild Shizuma.

BALD

A bald Shizuma... Wow... Apparently he shaved his head in apology for Oosaki's hospitalization, as it was his fault he ended up in that situation to begin with. He doesn't sound even remotely sorry from his tone though, but that's just how he is. Oosaki wonders if Shizuma forgot about the restraining order, but Shizuma just tells him that he'll pay the fine again. Again... because he already visited before... Seems the day after Oosaki was discharged, Shizuma showed up at his doorstep to apologize as well. And he paid a fine for it. Wow.

Shizuma gives Oosaki a ride home and starts questioning why Oosaki is going so far to help Shiodome. He can't be THAT cute, can he!?!? Oooh someone's jealous... just kidding. Unless..? Anyways, Oosaki shows Shizuma a photo of Shiodome. A baby photo that is, since that's all he has. It's a cute picture of baby Shiodome holding a teddy bear <3 Shizuma looks at it and all he has to say is "you have bad taste..." Wow, thanks.

Back to the main subject, Oosaki asks Shizuma if there's a chance that Sukekiyo is still alive. But all Shizuma has to say is "nope, it's impossible. And even if he was, I'd just kill him again!" Wow, okay. Oosaki also brings up how he's been mistaken for Sukekiyo before. Even though Sukekiyo and Shizuma had different mothers, could it be they looked quite similar to each other? Shizuma tells him that they were actually so similar in appearance that they could be mistaken for twins. And to this, Oosaki asks if perhaps... is he actually Sukekiyo...? "Even if I was or wasn't, it wouldn't change our relationship. I only came to see you because, isn't it normal for someone to want to see his brother?" Wow... what does that mean... I need him so desperately... Ahem, anyways.

3 years pass and Oosaki picks up Shiodome who's been released from jail as it seems he's decided to take him in since he has no family or anywhere to go. Apparently Shinagawa came too as the driver.  Shinagawa is extremely upset about this turn of events, and is extremely hostile towards Shiodome because he's jealous. It's kind of funny to see this incomparison to Shiodome's B route where he straight up pulled a knife on him... in this scenario since Shiodome is following legal processes properly and Oosaki is still in his right of mind, Shinagawa is forced to cooperate somewhat. But that won't stop him from calling him a murderer. Shiodome doesn't seem to mind though.. in fact, he seems to want to get along with Shinagawa. He wants to see what Oosaki-san is like at work too ~ <3 But this just bothers Shinagawa even more... it's tough having a love rival.

Look at his cute sweater d'aww

Oosaki bought a little house to live in with Shiodome, and before Shinagawa leaves, Shiodome gifts him some hats he made in prison. They're very sloppily made, but they were made with heart. Shinagawa then admits that he isn't so different from Shiodome... he probably would have been in jail by now too if Oosaki and Shinkiba didn't stop him from attempting to murder his father. Still, he refuses to like or accept Shiodome, and we all know why... BECAUSE HE'S JEALOUS! WELL TOO BAD!

Oosaki and Shiodome then live a domestic lovey dovey life... and Shiodome tells him that he's so happy, and that maybe he can even... become a bride... <3 Oosaki's just like "???" WHAT DO YOU MEAN ??? ARE YOU AN IDIOT. SHIODOME WANTS TO BE YOUR TWINK BRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!! Oosaki is completely oblivious in this route however...

THE END

We can only hope one day the two actually get married. And yes, this was Shiodome A route. CUTE!!!!!!!!!! HE'S SO CUTE!!!!! THAT'S MY TWINK MONKEY BRIDE!!!!!!!

Now where's the 3P with Shinagawa.

Anyways.

???? ROUTE

Wonder who's route it is this time? Hmm. Spoiler this is Toyosu Route.

The branch this time is on the first night on Ooejima when Oosaki is making his call to report what happened so far to his dad while Ariake eavesdropping on him. As you may recall, he was pretending to be phoning his wife, and ended the call with an 'I love you.' But this time, Oosaki cannot bring himself to say the words...

Ariake is in a much better mood compared to when he does say that on the phone, but we don't care about him right now.

Everything is essentially the same until after Oosaki and Ariake take a bath at the Yaegaki outdoor springs. Instead of heading straight back, he wanders around the pier where he then encounters Toyosu for the first time. They introduce themselves and have some friendly conversation.

They chill a bit before Toyosu recommends they try playing a little game where they each light a sparkler and whoever's lasts longer wins. Toyosu says if Oosaki wins, he'll tell him a story he can take as a souvenir to the afterlife. Sounds ominous, but Shinkiba asked Oosaki to bring him some stories of his trip home so he complies. Anyways, it seems Toyosu enjoys fireworks.. Looking at Toyosu's hands, Oosaki asks if he has rheumatism, which yes he do. Apparently Oosaki's grandmother also had rheumatism, so it reminds him of her... Okay now Oosaki's fascination with Toyosu's hands back on the common route scenario makes more sense.

Toyosu ends up winning, so Oosaki asks if they can play this game again the next day. Wow date with old man... Is this his route?

Anyways, the story still progresses exactly the same as default, but this time after Funeno's outburt in the lunch after the memorial service, Oosaki decides to follow to see what's wrong. He finds Funeno running through Mikazuki scared shitless, before locking himself in Oosaki's room. Oosaki tries to barge in, where he finds that Funeno had made a mess searching for his invitation or whatever... Guy then dies right there in front of Oosaki... Shinbashi and Shiodome come in and they just like uhhh what the...

Things are basically exactly the same with them finding the phones broking and everyone getting nervous bla bla bla the same except this time Shinbashi is quite vocal about Oosaki being the culprit. Unfortunately, he really doesn't have much means of defending himself, so he accepts his position as being suspicious as hell and elects to confine himself to Mikazuki while everyone else can stay at Yaegaki. Ariaki is of course concerned, so he also elects to stay at Mikazuki with Oosaki. Nobody really gives a fuck what they do, so they just go with that. The entire bonfire ceremony is skipped this time...

The next morning, Oosaki wakes up alongside Ariake and things seem the same as usual. Oosaki decides to put his detective hat on and asks Ariake his opinions on what's gone on so far. When Takeshiba shows up to tell them everyone is meeting at the pier, he can ask him about the situation as well... but there isn't really much afoot.

After getting to the pier, there's a disturbance of sorts... Toyosu runs out of the shack by the pier shooked and Shijoumae yells for nobody to come close. Looking inside, Oosaki sees that Hinode is laying face down, dead! Apparently he was shot in the side from behind... who could've done this? Seeing a dead child leaves Aomi completely devastated. Oosaki checks everyones alibies... seems like Hinode likely came here with someone he trusts as he has his bag and crutch with him, signifying that he walked here on his own. Everyone's alibi all over the place too...

Seeing as the boat's not coming, the group gather at Yaegaki. Toyosu heads to the restroom so Oosaki accompanies him partway before Ariake approaches him to talk about the recent going ons. Chatting for a bit, Shijoumae soon asks if Toyosu's back yet... Hmm.. it has been a while... They look back and are shooked to see a red invitation on the floor by the front door!! Who put that there!? The door is unlocked too...! They rush to the bathroom and find Toyosu leaning against the wall with his throat cut. He seems to struggle for a bit before collapsing dead! Sus! Running to the bathroom, they find an invitation sitting on the toilet that contains Takeshiba's charges, and the window is wide open. Sussy! Oosaki tries to keep the charges as evidence, but Takeshiba get's very upset and rips it from his hands before tearing it up. Doesn't seem like anyone in a very cooperative mood.

The group end up deciding to stay at the temple this time. Rain starts to fall as they all gather there in the darkness... Ariake starts to feel sick so Oosaki tries to take care of him. In the dead of the night, he sees Takeshiba suspiciously sneaking outside his door... asking him where he's going, he claims to just be going to the restroom.. Hmm... Some time later, the group regathers only to find that Shiodome is missing? Looking around, they find his corpse by the door leading outside. Shijoumae does a quick autopsy and judges that he was killed by poison. Who dunnit...?

Takeshiba immediately gets extremely defensive, assuming that people are gonna think he did it. Strangely enough however, Oosaki has a different theory. It seems to be that someone poisoned the little thingies that catch rain outside, suspecting that someone would try drinking from it. It was a random killing... and poor thirsty Shiodome was the victim as he went out to drink some water.

Oosaki asks the group to go to the shack by the pier, where they find that Hinode's body is missing! He then accuses Shijoumae of fudging the autopsy reports. Hinode and Toyosu are alive, and Shijoumae lied! The mastermind must have convinced him to do such a thing, perhaps by promising Shijoumae a means of escape. But Shiodome's random killing is evidence that the mastermind has no intention of keeping any promises! Shijoumae is convinced by this argument, and admits that Toyosu put him up to this. The group decide to split up to find Toyosu, but Oosaki thinks he already knows where he is...

He goes all the way to the opposite side of the island to the pier on the back side and finds Toyosu chilling out there. They talk a bit, and Toyosu says he's realized that Oosaki is clearly not the real Daiba Shizuma, as the real one would never cooperate with others. He asks for his real name, so Oosaki tells him that it's Oosaki Hiiro (red his name literally just means the color red bruh).

Toyosu says that the color red has a special meaning to Ooejima. Apparently in the olden days, the elderly would sometimes throw themselves off the cliffs to reduce the number of mouths to feed during famine. Instead of any ceremony, they would simply leave behind a red paper for their loved ones so they could be reunited in the next life. Hmm... red papers you say...

He also says that he involved Hinode because he wanted to hide him away somewhere after faking his death. A child shouldn't get involved in murder mystery island events after all... apparently there's a hidden room in the shack by the pier's attic that has food and water. Interesting. Also, apparently Komuse died because Toyosu poisoned some alcohol he gave him. So it was really up to chance whether they got stranded or not depending on whether Komuse drank it.

Toyosu truly believes they all stranded here and that nobody's going to come to save them for a good while. However Oosaki believes! He has a daddy he loves that is looking for him after all! Toyosu tells him that there is stuff he set up on the island that if they blow the fuck up should be enough to alert local authorities, but Oosaki wants to prove the power of love to Toyosu by just playing the long game and waiting. Wow... okay sure. Oosaki spends some good amount of time reminiscing about the love Shinkiba has showed him in life as well, and he wants to return the love that saved him to help save Toyosu. That's very sweet of you Oosaki but shouldnt you just get the police over already... Seems at the end Oosaki still wants to make this a game with Toyosu, like the sparklers battle they had the night before.

As expected, rescue does indeed come some days later. They're still hospitalized for malnutrition, but it seems everyone's fine! Except Funeno of course. RIP. But soon after being discharged, Toyosu disappears...

Some time later, Oosaki finally tracks down Toyosu's location alongside Shinagawa, leading him to a gynecologist's office in fuckall nowhere. The office is run by an Ooe Rouren... Wow... There they find Toyosu... or should I say, Ooe Rouren. In his home are all the documents that list the crimes of the invitees etc, and seems he did indeed get access to them from being a doctor. But not included are the ones for Hinode's mother or that Shibaura fellow (the 11th person who got sent Shinbashi's charges). Hmm... Also, it's clear that Rouren shares the home with another person, but no one is here... Also according to Funeno's claims, when he was hired over the phone he heard both a man and a woman's voice. Could this mystery woman be Rouren's roommate? Hmm... After the events on the island, it turned out Hinode was found in an orphanage with no family, so now Shizuma is sponsoring his education. Mysterious...

Oosaki sends Shinagawa home so that he can get some alone time with grandpa. What you up to...

After chilling some more, Rouren upons up about how he has no relation to Ooe An. Apparently his father was from Ooejima, but after moving to the mainland he changed their surname to Ooe as a sign of where they came from or something. Apparently he was planning to die today after seeing the fireworks... since he's old and apparently his health is not good, he's very weak and already on death's door. Oosaki tries to insist to Rouren that there's still something to live for and people to meet. Apparently after everything that happened, the other invitees began to have some self reflection regarding their sins or whatever and were interested in talking to Rouren again about all that. Honestly I'm a little doubtful but sure.

Rouren tells Oosaki that he do have a message for them. That he wants them to keep on living, unloved by anyone, and continuing to be miserable all alone. Wow... who hurt you man. As the fireworks go off, Toyosu seems very sad. Apparently he used to do a lot of abortions as a gynecologist, but became regretful after the war as he didn't want to get involved in whether others had to live or die or whatever. Seems he has a lot of regrets, and tells Oosaki that he's not the person Oosaki thinks he is... Anyways they have some loving grandpa grandson-esque bonding as Oosaki helps put peepaw to bed.

Anyways in the end it comes down to what Rouren had said before about choosing the correct options or choosing the options you won't regret. This Oosaki wants to keep on choosing the correct choice. He insists that Rouren should keep on living, even if it fucking sucks. He don't give a fuck about what crazy shit Rouren did in the past, we all about moving forward here.

Route ends with him talking to his daddy on the phone, and he finally says I love you back...

THE END!

Okay, from what I can tell this route supposed to be a lot more focused on like Oosaki's inner feelings and overcoming trauma to move forward or whatever blablabla. I don't exactly remember where but Rouren kind of touches on it I think in this route how he started murder fuck island to begin with as his way of trying to find atonement for his sins. And also dragging in some other poor random 'sinners' he found with him as well as some kind of group atonement suicide. But it also seems that Hinode getting wrapped into it was not intentional, so how did that happen...

Also... I don't exactly remember the exact point where, but Rouren does mention at points that he believes in human kindness to a degree? Sometimes? Either that or that only applise to the kind Oosaki. I feel in general he seems kind of on the fence, and in some routes he becomes more malicious than others. This also makes me feel like him sinking the boat in the common route when he goes on it alone was as suicide. Since he took the food with him, I'm assuming he had lost faith in the group... but why would he leave Hinode behind? That's what I don't really understand. If someone has an idea let me know... Either way there's much to ponder on.

Also how Oosaki didn't fuck him... Old man fuckers worldwide likely in tears. I get that peepaw is borderline on end of life support, but I think he could fit one rod in before he makes his way out right... well whatever. I trust Kurosawa's vision and I understand that this more poignant approach better suits the tone and theme of the route. Also also, peepaw is only 67?? That's only a few years older than Shijoumae!? Yet Shijoumae still in top shape with huge milkers while Rouren looks like he could croak any day now. Is this what happens when you're a crazy war vet versus being a depressed gynecologist? Or is it the effect of having versus not having a hot wife...? Regardless, we will simply never know.

Also also also, summarizing all this I guess Shiodome A and Toyosu routes were pretty obvious it was theirs from the get go? Was I just stupid? Well whatever, I will continue to use this format.

????? ROUTE

Spoiler, it's HINODE ROUTE! Finally the answer to Oosaki's being shroedinger's pedophile will be revealed.

This route branches during the day of the memorial ceremony at lunch, where instead of inviting Funeno to eat with them, Oosaki decides to mind his own damn business. This results in Funeno not having an outburst and thus the peace is kept. For now. Lunch progresses peacefully, but Oosaki is still concerned about why Funeno seems so scared of him. Deciding to finally confront the issue, he decides to head back to Mikazuki early.

He finds Funeno who is going to turn the power on, which of course results in the record starting to play the ominous sutra. But this time, Oosaki is here to help Funeno. He finds the record and turns it off before returning to assist Funeno, who remained in the shed outside without budging. Shinbashi also of course comes over to complain about how noisy they're being since he's silly like that.

Oosaki ponders the mystery of the record, and later confides to Ariake about the incident. While Ariake believes the culprit must be Shinbashi since Shinbashi seems to dislike Funeno, Oosaki is doubtful since Shinbashi doesn't just dislike Funeno, but everyone there equally. Anyways, the two decided to dedicate themselves to helping Funeno and figuring out who is harassing him by first offering to help him prepare for the bonfire ceremony. At some point Shiodome shows up to help out as well. Gee I wonder why!!! While wary at first, Funeno soon begins to warm up to their kindness and begins to actually smile... and he has a sweet angelic smile as well... could this be? Is this his route...?

Now that's a babygirl if I've ever seen one

Moved by their kindness, Funeno finally opens up and reveals the fact that he received Daiba Shizuma's charges. Of course, this information perturbs Oosaki somewhat, but he claims the charges are false, and that he himself had not recieved such a thing. This seems to ease Funeno's mind somewhat. Meanwhile, Shiodome, having realized he nearly killed the wrong man, suddenly claims to be very interested in Funeno's record player and asks if he can have it. And also randomly takes note of the sleeping pills, insisting that they're bad for the body, so he's going to confiscate them. Funeno is of course against Shiodome stealing his sleeping pills, but Shiodome's already out the door before he can stop him.

Seeing as nobody's dead and everythings fine, the general tone is a lot more chill. Ariake also seems to get a little impatient and begins to try making bolder moves on Oosaki.

Ariake: When you go to take a bath after, let's get in together!!

Girl calm down, Oosaki and his monster dong are not going anywhere. For now that is. Anyways, by noon it's discovered that someone smashed the phones. That's suspicious... but nobody really has an alibi so nobody can be singled out either. they successfully perform the actual bonfire ceremony as it was originally supposed to be done, setting ablaze a small stack of hay on the back pier. The walk there is spoopy since they have to go through all those damn tunnels, but generally things are calm and friendly. Others comment on how Funeno is a lot more chipper than his skittish self from earlier that day...

Afterwards they have delicious scrumptious dinner prepared by Funeno, and everyone is happily chillaxing and getting along. Ariake leaves a little early, but they soon hear a scream! He's encountered a scorpion outside... so scary. So there's scorpions on the island too... The group splits into two when half of them decide to take a bath. Oosaki, Ariake, Takeshiba, and Shijoumae head to the baths, leaving Toyosu, Aomi, Shiodome, and Hinode inside where they are chilling. Funeno had left already to do servant stuff, and Shinbashi vanished a while ago because he's antisocial.

On the way to the baths, they talk a bit about scorpion poison. According to Shijoumae, sucking out the poison is more of a last resort, and he can perform better treatment if need be. Ariake immediately tells Oosaki that he would be happy to suck out his poison if he gets stung and Shijoumae's not around... Not picking up on his hints, Oosaki thanks him normally. Then Ariake asks if Oosaki would be weilling to suck poison out of him if he was the one to get poisoned... to which of course Oosaki's just like "okay sure." Kyaaa... Takeshiba immediately picks up on Ariake's homosexuality and gets jealous, insisting that he should get the chance to have Oosaki suck his poison out too. Wow... the girls are fighting... Shijoumae applauds Oosaki for his popularity with the men here, but Oosaki is still competely out of the loop.

When they actually get to the baths, they find Shinbashi already there... He obviously doesn't seem happy to have them join, but there is nothing he can do about it. With five people squeezed into the springs it's a little too close for comfort. They soon hear screaming, followed by Shiodome running forth and barreling into the water as well, making it a six person squeeze. Wow... true naked bonding... Who's route is this again.

Ariake and Oosaki leave first, finding a strange note stuck in the changing room door. It looks exactly like the crime charges, except this one just says 'you' instead of a specific name, and accuses them of the murder of Ooe An. Concerning. Oosaki decides that it would be best to not share this with the group, as it may cause a kerfuffle to break out. Ariake, as usual, agrees with everything Oosaki says. They return to Mikazuki to discuss what they know so far, deciding that those who were in the baths with them are all accounted for, besides the last one in: Shiodome. Therefore the writer of the notes and mastermind must be either him, Toyosu, Aomi, or Hinode. Hmm who could it be? Either way, they decide to return to Yaegaki to replace the suspicious note with a paper of their own as some kind of message to the mastermind that they're onto them.

They run directly into Aomi after getting to Yaegaki, so they pretend that they're here because Ariake lost something. While placing the paper back in the changing room however, the power goes out. Finding their way back out, once again they run into Aomi in the hallway, who is accompanied by Hinode. Aomi asks what it was they were looking for if they hadn't found it yet, as he could keep an eye out as well. So Oosaki says it was a paper crane... All of a sudden, another scorpion comes out, but before anyone can react, Hinode obliterates it instantly with his crutch. Oosaki can't help but wonder if Hinode even thinks twice about killing little critters, even if they just bugs.

The next day everyone heads to the pier to wait for the boat, and in an extremely shocking turn of events, Shinbashi and Ariake seem to get along while chatting on the walk there. What in tarnation... I don't believe it. I suppose anything is possible when nobody has died. Anyways, the whole group chats and seems to be in good spirits as they wait for the boat. Yet, the boat doesn't appear... hmm. In the meantime, Aomi hands Ariake a paper crane, telling him that he found it in the laundry basket. Hmm............. it's folded from the paper they left there.... Curiouser and curiouser.

Since the boat doesn't seem to be coming, Funeno tells them to head back first as he'll keep watch for it. But Oosaki then later sees him walking through the village while carrying diesel with him somewhere... what could that all be about? Still, he decides not to pursue it. After more time passes, he and some others check on the pier again, and what do you know. Funeno never came back. Wonder where he could possibly be!

Distressed by the current state of events, Ariake decide to reveal the mystery paper to everyone since it might be a clue to figuring out who's behind stranding them on this island. The accusation causes the room to go silent... wasn't Ooe An's death by suicide? Shijoumae then steps up and reveals that according to his autopsy, it was most definitely a murder.

Hearing all this, it inspires Shinbashi to share his piece as well. As you may recall from Shinbashi's route, he intially thought his script inspired Ooe An to kill herself and felt guilty about it, but if it was a murder then that's a whole nother story. He reveals the fact that his script was copied for her suicide, and that the only people who could have had access to it would be someone extremely close to her. Was anyone here that close to her...?  It really doesn't seem like it. Oosaki starts to become increasingly concerned that Shizuma is the culprit that the mastermind's after, but he's not here! And worst of all, everyone thinks he's Shizuma right now. Uh oh.

Shijoumae later invites Oosaki to go fishing with him by the pier, seeing as how they would likely run out of food otherwise. While fishing the two bond over how friendly kind and pretty Ariake is. Though Shijoumae abruptly drops that he believes this gentle and kinda Ariake may be the mastermind. He doesn't want to think so, since Ariake treated him with much kindness at Ooe An's funeral, but he does have a history of killing his wives... so if he was actually secret lovers with Ooe An, wouldn't it all add up? Shijoumae sneakily shows Oosaki Ariake's charges, but of course Oosaki also does not want to believe that the cute and kind Ariake is the mastermind. As another suspicious hint, Shijoumae mentions that someone had placed a red paper crane on Ooe An's coffin. He suspects it may have been Ariake, seeing as how he was looking for a paper crane this morning! Shijoumae requests Oosaki to figure out what kind of attachment Ariake has to paper cranes, and Oosaki does not want to comply. He leaves just as Shijoumae seems to have hooked a fish...

Back at Mikazuki, he finds Ariake bonding with Hinode. They chill a bit before Oosaki leaves them to try to investigate more clues about who may be the mastermind.

Anyways, he returns to Mikazuki to find Ariake and Hinode playing drawing word chain. Ariake is complete dogshit at drawing, but Hinode is pretty good. But when Ariake tries to get Hinode to write some words, he still opts for spelling on their palms to communicate instead... Why won't he just write on paper? Much to think about. Well basically more this and that and fucking around happens, and nobody dies and everyone's just getting along. But they're still stranded? Oosaki eventually asks Ariake what his attachment is to paper cranes, and he says that they remind him of his first love... Hmm. He later tells Shijoumae this, who of course still believes Ariake is sus. But Oosaki remains on the fence.

Later on, he tells Ariake that he trusts him, but Ariake gives him a hard time and doesn't believe him, saying that he doesn't even trust Oosaki. But also that he doesn't give a fuck of he's the culprit or not, since he just wants to cozy up with him anyhow. Damn...

That night while having a sleepover with Hinode, Hinode silently gets up and leaves the room. Before Oosaki can follow him to see what's up, Ariake grabs him, saying that it's not good to follow a girl to the bathroom. What...!? Apparently, Ariake had seen Hinode at Ooe An's funeral, and at the time he... or she had long hair while wearing a dress. Hinode must be keeping silent to hide her feminine voice! What the heck... Though Ariake just keeps on yapping, and says that he's realized that Hinode must be the mastermind and that she must be plotting to kill one of them tonight. Or maybe even someone else entirely. Either way, Ariake doesn't care as he already has a plot in the works. While Oosaki is still flabbergasted, Ariake then keeps yapping to drop the bomb that Oosaki is his first love. The paper crain reminds him of the town where they first me. This causes Oosaki to finally put two and two together and recognize Ariake, leaving him kinda scared shitless. Not wanting to dwell on all that, he just demands Hinode's location from Ariake, who said that he slipped Shiodome a threatening note telling him to go where Hinode wanted to meet Ariake. Uh oh... apparently Ariake wants them to kill each other. That is not very nice of him.

Since Ariake refuses to tell him where the location is, Oosaki uses his detective powers to guess where it is. It's at the shack by the pier. He finds Shiodome on the ground and Hinode pointing a gun at him. That's not good... He dives in the protect Shiodome and makes a weak attempt at persuading Hinode. But being Oosaki, the only weapon he has is facts and logic, so he just announces his findings that nobody on this island could possibly be the culprit behind Ooe An's death. Nobody except perhaps... Daiba Shizuma. Who he totally isn't by the way. Hinode is so offended by his half-assed lie that he pulls the trigger.

Oosaki closes his eyes and expects death, and his last thoughts are of how that smug ass Daiba Shizuma probably saw this coming from the beginning. Stupid smug bitch. In truth, Oosaki really didn't like him. Shizuma had the same face as him, yet he lived such a better life... Oosaki was jealous and hated him for it. But then for some reason he starts to hear Shizuma's voice... Shizuma asks him why Oosaki doesn't even consider defending his honor when he's the one paying him...

Oosaki opens his eyes to find SHIZUMA??? SHIZUMA GRABBED HINODE, PREVENTING HIM FROM AIMING AT OOSAKI! WOW! WHY THE FUCK IS HE HERE!?!???! HUH??

What a strange turn of events. Shizuma then asks Oosaki to hurry up and get some diesel, as they need to take Shiodome to a hospital ASAP via the boat Shizuma brought. Long story short, Shizuma was concerned about whether the island would turn into some kind of stranded murder fuck island, so he had called in advance and advised the servant who picked up, Funeno, to prepare some kind of 'just in case' boat. However, when he got to Hachijouji's harbor he found the boat had been abandoned... Funeno really up and ditched their asses. Bitch... Concerned about Oosaki and clearly having little to no regard for his own safety, Shizuma drove the boat through the typhoon to check on him, and here we are now. Wow...

How could anyone have doubted you Nii-chan... I never did by the way.

Anyways, Shiodome gets hospitalized and treated for his gunshot wound. But that night, Toyosu sneaks into his room to finish him off... Oosaki catches him in the act, revealing that the room was a fake. Shiodome's in a different room... He interrogates Toyosu, and the man finally comes clean about everything. Apparently, Hinode really is the mastermind behind everything. Toyosu wanted to kill Shiodome so that he could paint over Hinode's crime... since Hinode is just a child who's made some mistakes... Erm, I don't think setting up a murder fuck island and shooting people indiscriminately can be brushed aside as minor mistakes but whatever.

It turns out, Hinode's mother, Hinode Riko, was besties with Ooe An, and funnily enough, they looked remarkably similar to each other. Apparently Ooe An went through a lot of shit, and Toyosu was even the one who helped her have an abortion. Since Ooe An died soon after, he always felt he was partially to blame thanks to his actions. He believes that An really did kill herself, but having feared death, she asked her bestie to kill her for her like some kind of assisted suicide... that's why it looked like a murder. Hinode's mom has been awol ever since...

The whole murder fuck island plot came along because originally Toyosu was just planning to invite the sinners he'd found to have some kind of stranded atonement party of sorts without any of the crime accusations going on. But when he asked his an aquaintance of his, a cop named Shibaura Maretsugu (the guy who had received Shinbashi's charges supposedly), for a list of criminals that never got tried for their crimes to set up his atonement stranded island plot, the sneak decided to get nosey and cause problems on purpose. He ended up leaking the list of sinners to Hinode before dropping hints that the one who killed Ooe An was among those on the list. Filled with rage, Hinode began to hijack Toyosu's memorial plans and turn it into what it is now. Even the gun Hinode had apparently belonged to Shibaura. ACAB for sure...

Oh also, for whatever reason Riko had raised Hinode as a girl, but he is indeed a boy. Toyosu also is not too clear on the reasons why. He believes Hinode refuses to speak because his voice now gives him dysphoria after reaching puberty, and how he has a limp likely because of psychological trauma due to everything that's gone on in his life thus far.

Toyosu could have just explained to Hinode that the cop was just fucking with him, but he was scared of facing him... and scared of how the truth would affect him... But mostly scared of Hinode... what kind of 13 year old baby comes up with all this shit. He did it very quickly too.  Either way, he insists that he's the one who murdered Shibaura to cover his tracks, and Komuse was his doing as well. Hinode's only REAL crime was shooting Shiodome, so... please just let him off for that... tehe. THIS  BRAT GONNA GET SPOILED MAN!! HE'S SPOILED!

Anyways, Oosaki feels kind of bad for Toyosu and basically promises that they'll let him take the full fall for Hinode's actions. He goes to the roof and talks to Shizuma a bit in the dramatic rain. Shizuma really act like he doesn't give a fuck about all this, but before he can leave, Hinode appears whole holding some broken glass. Shizuma basically starts acting like the bad guy, telling Hinode that Ooe An was his sister-in-law, and that she broke because he rejected her. He laughs while saying this, so Hinode tries to stab him to death with the glass.

He says some more mean shit and Hinode ends up falling over. Looking at the scene, Oosaki feels like he should hate Shizuma for it, but he finds it hard to. From what he gathers, everything is apparently his fault. Ooe An was driven to suicide after Shizuma broke her heart... is that it? But when he looks at Shizuma's actions now, it's more like someone who's trying to become a target for Hinode's hate than some one who really deserves it... What's the truth...? Regardless, with no one else to support him, Oosaki gives poor baby Hinode a reassuring hug. Baby then finally starts to feel a little better...

Time passes and Toyosu AKA Rouren went to jail. Oosaki still keeps in contact with him as he has now taken custody of Hinode, who he lives with. Hinode has promised to be a good boy so Rouren can be proud of him when he gets out. Also, Ariake is still trying to cling to Oosaki but becomes progressively more put off by how Oosaki's full focus is now on raising Hinode. He seems to have realized he's completely lost his chance, so they just are kinda friends for now sort of. It also turns out that basically everyone who survived the island is now chipping in to support Hinode in some way. Apparently Shiodome even visits sometimes to help out, and Aomi lives nearby to lend teaching materials. Awwwww.

Anyways, Hinode seems to be doing well and is super cute and friendly towards Oosaki. But when they get home together, Oosaki finds a paper hidden under his cushion... A full document labled 'Daiba Shizuma Murder Plan', written in that same clean handwriting he'd used to write those threatening charges in the past........ Hinode is embarrassed to have been caught... but he shamelessly grabs it, just to keep working on it. Oosaki feels very concerned that with only strange adults to have as role models, Hinode's chances of growing into a well adjusted person may be in jeopardy...

Anyways, on a last note, it turns out that the Shibaura guy was a really corrupted fucker who was also the one that forced Ooe An to go get an abortion.. who's baby was it anyways. Regardless, the day Shibaura supposedly threw himself into the train tracts, a girl in a white dress was seen there as well... Wonder what she was up to!

THE END!!

OOSAKI BEAT THE ALLEGATIONS!!!! Just kidding. According to post route notes, Hinode starts to realize deep feelings for Oosaki and begins to pursue him in earnest after he grows up, resulting in them having an Usagi Drop ending 8 years later after Hinode turns 22. Oh boy... Well Hinode always gets what he wants I suppose. And an 8 year gap isn't even as big as those of some of the other guys so I guess it's not even that illegal besides the fact that Oosaki is Hinode's legal guardian but we don't have to think about that right now.

Also, as I'm sure you can gather, Hinode went to the train station dressed as a girl and murdered Shibaura to steal his gun. He even set his house on fire after to cover his tracks. This is a very proactive 13 year old.

Oh also, apparently Hinode Oosaki and Shizuma end up in some kind of bizarre love triangle where Shizuma still sticks around, but still tries to actively make Hinode hate him, and Hinode is of course in love with Oosaki but Shizuma's attached to him too and... well I'm sure you can imagine. Either way it's a triangle.

FUNENO ROUTE

We already know this is Funeno's just from process of elimination. Or is it...? Well let's found out.

This route branches on the first day when Oosaki arrives at Mikazuki with Ariake. Bothered about Funeno's strange fear of him, he decides to pursue the matter and hands Funeno his (Shizuma's) business card, asking him to call the number on it if he has any specific issues with him. This leaves Funeno very confuzzled and he begins to doubt Oosaki's identity.

His mouth is so small

Everything progresses basically exactly the same, except on the morning of the memorial service, Oosaki stays behind to make another phone call to his daddy, forcing poor Ariake to head to the temple alone. While checking in with him however, he spots Shiodome in Mikazuki. Now that's odd... who is this and why is he here...?

Having been caught, Shiodome immediately insists that he is just... looking for the trash can... to dispose of this strange record player he found. Yes. Oosaki is doubtful, but regardless, the two head to the temple together, forcing Shiodome to abort his murder plans.

Again things progress the same, but without Funeno's death since that was aborted. Everything progresses peacefully, but later that evening Oosaki finds that his detective notebook is missing from his bag... He runs into Shinbashi and suspects him for a brief moment, but since Shinbashi is his usual prickly tsundere adorable innocent babygirl self, Oosaki's doubts are immediately quelled. The only perpetrator could really be Funeno! But how is he supposed to broach this subject...?

By evening, everyone gathers for the bonfire at night, but for some reason Shiodome is missing. That's strange... wasn't he the type who would be most interested in this kind of thing? By night, Shiodome still hasn't returned, and apparently his things are missing from his room as well. Oosaki and a few others decide to search the forest for him, but to no avail... He's gone... When returning to his room, Oosaki finds that his notebook is back in his bag... Funeno must have returned it, unaware that Oosaki has already noticed the theft.

The next day, as expected, the boat doesn't come. This time, when Funeno attempts to sneak off to escape on his own, the entire group catches him red handed. He swears that he was going to just call for help, so Takeshiba insists on going along with him to make sure of it! Nobody seems to find any issue with this, and the boat soon sets off for the neighboring island... Yet for some reason, the two suddenly start to fight in the boat, before it overturns and sinks. Uh oh...

Oosaki dives into the sea to help rescue them, and saves Funeno who was panicking and then fainted in the water. Meanwhile Takeshiba seems to manage to swim himself to shore, though he has to throw up a lot of sea water. Damn. Anyways. After interrogating Takeshiba, apparently he accused Funeno of murdering Shiodome while they were on the boat, and it caused Funeno to go into a panic which led to their little fight. And now they have no boat! Oosaki can't help but wonder why the fuck Takeshiba would bring up such a reckless topic while alone with a man much taller and stronger than him in the middle of the fucking ocean. But we all know Takeshiba is not very smart.

After Funeno wakes up, everyone tries to interrogate him but he keeps claiming to not know anything. Since he's suspicious, they tie him up to further torture him in the shack by the pier.

Eventually, Funeno begs to be allowed to use the bathroom. Nobody is willing to let him out of their sights, so Oosaki comes up with the brilliant idea of grabbing a bucket to help Funeno just go here. Funeno's human dignity is damaged as he is forced to piss before a crowd... and also, this somehow angers Ariake terribly. I guess he's jealous that Oosaki helped someone else piss right in front of him. Having been taken by a meangirl mood, Ariake pulls out some crackers he found in the kitchen and steps on them, commanding Funeno to test them for poison. He smiles as this poor guy literally licks the dirt covered crackers off the floor, and the rest of the group kind of watch in horror. Oosaki then drags Ariake outside to lecture him for violating Funeno's human rights, but Ariake struggles to understand how he did anything wrong... Girl get ahold of yourself.

They suddenly hear screams and rush back in, only to find Takeshiba stripping Funeno's clothes off??? Apparently he thought that if they left Funeno stark naked, it would reduce the chances of him running away due to the shame! Oosaki is appalled by how far they're all going to completely destroy this man's dignity. Unfortunately, due to hightened emotions and perhaps a fear response, Funeno gets hard from the incident... once again, demolishing any dignity he could have possibly had left. It doesn't help that Takeshiba is also in awe at his size... STOP BEING FASCINATED BY HUGE DICKS YOU COCK HUNGRY SLUT...

Anyways, having reached his limit, Funeno confesses to killing Shiodome... Apparently that afternoon, Shiodome had offered to assist his preparations for the bonfire before abruptly trying to threaten him regarding the charges. Out of confusion and stress, Funeno waved a rock around and accidentally bonked the poor twink's scalp in with his superior strength... He was dead.. probably... so he had no choice but to drag Shiodome's body to some random spot in the woods. In fear, he also moved Shiodome's belongings to the shed in the temple where he planned to burn it all later.

With this information, Ariake suddenly decides he wants to go get Shiodome's things. Wonder why! Oosaki chases after him, and once they get into the shed, for some reason it smells a bit like oil... The door behind them then shuts and locks, before a hand emerges from the shadows to toss a lit match into the oil. Everything bursts into flames. Great.

Ariake starts panicking, and the only solution he can come up with is to piss the flames away. He insists to Oosaki that he could definitely piss more than Funeno did. WHY ARE YOU SO HUNG UP ABOUT THE PISS... SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! Anyways, while this shed has no ways to escape besides the door, it does have a window high up on the wall. Oosaki uses his seme muscles to start yeeting any flaming thing he can out said window to reduce the amount of burning inside the shed. Eventually the fire finally dies down, though it's still hot as hell and uncomfortable... but at least they're alive!

The next morning, Shijoumae rescues them from the shed. Apparently the door was tied shut with some rope... Who could have done this...? Apparently mostly everyone has an alibi, so it's quite mysterious. Shijoumae takes Ariake and Oosaki to Yaegaki where he treats their burns, and tells them that apparently Shinbashi and Takeshiba are keeping watch over Funeno. While Ariake is mostly unharmed, Oosaki unfortunately had his shirt burned off, and also was left with some burns on his arms that need bandaging.
Important note: from this point on he's just walking around like this

Oosaki heads to the restroom, but ends up encountering Ariake in the hall on the way out. Ariake throws himself into his arms and is extremely apologetic towards him for causing all this trouble. Of course, Oosaki doesn't blame Ariake for leading them into a flaming death trap. That could've happened to anyone. But Ariake still won't let go of him...

Momentarily perturbed, Ariake suddenly pulls Oosaki's pants down and tries to suck him off. Wait what... Oosaki is shellshocked. Why the heck is the pretty and innocent Ariake taking... his disgusting gigacock into his petite mouth... what...!???!??? In that moment, Oosaki feels more frightened than he was when locked in a literal room on fire. He begs Ariake to think of his wife, to which Ariake of course confesses that his wife is dead. He straight up admits that the person he's most interested in right now is Oosaki. In fact, the strange sound Oosaki heard on his first night in Mikazuki was Ariake clipping his nails, since he had gotten himself excited at the fantasy of perhaps finding an opportunity to touch Oosaki's skin. What in tarnation.... He even goes as far as to admit that his arm isn't broken?? Wow he's coming clean on everything.

Still, Oosaki wants nothing to do with him. He quickly runs away to the entryway where he encounters Shinbashi. Hoping to clear his mind by talking about something actually important like the mastermind's identity, he asks Shinbashi to accompany him to a room to talk. Completely distracted by Oosaki's half naked state, Shinbashi miraculously complies. Apparently he came back and Takeshiba is watching Funeno alone. Oosaki finds that to be a terrible idea, seeing as Takeshiba was the cause of their little accident on the ocean earlier, but there are other things to discuss right now.

Unfortunately, no matter how much Oosaki tries to explain his current reasoning about how Funeno is likely innocent and that there is still a culprit at large, none of it seems to be going through Shinbashi's ears. Shinbashi immediately starts accusing him of being a perverted deviant, pointing at Oosaki's raging boner as his evidence. Oosaki had not even realized it until now... Oops. He tries to explain himself, but Shinbashi is not one who listens to reasons when he's worked up, so the conversation continues to collapse into an untenable state. Oosaki requests Shinbashi to go get Aomi instead, since he believes Aomi would be more willing to listen to reason. Unfortunately, the words he used sound identical to the slang for rubbing your dicks together, so Shinbashi immediately assumes that Oosaki wants to get off with Aomi.

Still, he leaves and brings Aomi back in order to make the situation worse. Aomi is straight faced as usual, so Oosaki mistakenly believes that he can get through to him. Unfortunately, even while he tries to hide his ginormous tent, Shinbashi continuously sabotages his efforts in order to prove to Aomi that he is in fact a perverted sex hungry demon or what have you. What on earth... Then Ariake ends up walking in, and claims that as he's responsible for Oosaki's situation, he should be the one to resolve it! And he demands the other two to get the fuck out! Aomi finally speaks up, and insists that since Oosaki called him specifically, there is no reason for him to leave. Wait what... Even with Ariake forcibly stripping Oosaki's pants off and revealing his ginormous gigadick, the other two still refuse ot leave the room. In fact, Aomi starts to compete with Ariake in his attempts to jack Oosaki off. What..?????? WHAT????? AOMI... WUH... HUH!?? And the entire time Shinbashi is just watching, completely flabbergasted in morbid fascination. We all knew he was a bit of a pervert, but it's extremely funny to see.

But even if it's funny to the viewer, it's horrifying to poor Oosaki. He does NOT want to get jacked off by men right now. HE WANTS TO SOLVE THE CASE??? He begs them to stop by claiming that he has a wife who he's loyal to! Sure, he doesn't actually, but at least it causes Aomi and Ariake to briefly stop in their tracks. Oosaki then summons all his willpower to imagine his dad, which allows him to find the strength to quell his hard on. The three onlookers are actually shocked he managed to do it, and Oosaki takes advantage of that pause to escape. As soon as he runs out the door, he bumps into Toyosu, who seemed to have been eavesdropping. Damn... He blushes slightly, especially after seeing how Oosaki's dick is still hanging out, so Oosaki quickly puts that thing away before absconding out of Yaegaki.

Pushing all thoughts of what just happened out of his mind, he tries to focus solely on the actual case. But that's disrupted when he runs straight into Funeno, who is running nude across the village??? Chasing him is Takeshiba who seems to be tied up in the rope that Funeno was tied with earlier. Oosaki decides to prioritize helping Takeshiba, and the two return to Yaegaki to report Funeno's escape to the rest of the group. For some reason however, everyone seems to be less concerned about Funeno than one would expect. Aomi and Ariake immediately return to their place at Oosaki's side, which causes him to get nervous. They claim that since he's still recovering from his burns, he should get some rest... but he's not stupid. He can smell the red flags. Takeshiba meanwhile starts asking him why the heck the others are staring at Oosaki with such horned up gazes, to which Ariake pretty blatantly hints at what happened. Takeshiba's just like "You two jacked him off!?", to which Aomi tells him to watch his language since a child is in the room. Oops. Takeshiba tries to reprimand Oosaki for seducing his onii-sans too much, as it's making the one who wasn't pick look pitiful... to which of course Shinbashi screams that he didn't participate of his own will. Bruh... God what is going on... Anyways, Oosaki asks Takeshiba to help him change his bandages since he does not trust the others at this moment. Little does he know...

Once they're alone together, Oosaki confides a bit about his troubles. He has no idea why the others are suddenly acting so horny, and assumes that maybe there was some kind of gas in the tunnels left behind by the military or something that turns people horny. Takeshiba looks at him like he's fucking stupid, and tells Oosaki that obviously they're horny because he, a sexy and handsome virile young man, is walking around half naked and panting in a weakened and vulnerable state. Anyone who was even remotely attracted to him would obviously lose some self control. Oosaki is completely shocked at this revelation... and also becomes incredibly embarrassed at his stupid horny gas theory. Of course, Takeshiba then tries to take the opportunity to seduce Oosaki himself , but being a good boy, Oosaki rejects him and immediately absconds from the premises.

With little left for him, he runs back to investigate the room previously known as the flaming death trap room. Funnily enough, he cannot find any signs of Shiodome's belongings which should have been here. He also runs into a stark naked Funeno who finally seems willing to talk. Oosaki briefly notes that Funeno's dick is bigger than his, which comes as a small surprise since he's never met someone with one bigger than his before. Anyways, Funeno admits to stealing the notebook, and Oosaki finally formally introduces himself as Oosaki. Apparently, Oosaki has deduced that Shiodome is actually still alive. Funeno likely didn't actually check if he was dead after knocking him out, and after coming to, Shiodome took advantage of his supposedly dead status to fuck around and set up the flaming death trap. The proof is that none of his things were here... He likely recovered them in advance. Oosaki lends Funeno his underwear so that the poor guy has at least some dignity recovered before Oosaki leaves him to go find Shiodome.

He quickly finds Shiodome in a tree wielding a gun. Apparently he found it in the temple, which proves that others are trying to kill each other here too! The best option now would obviously be to kill everyone else first, so that he can be the only one left alive. He tries to shoot at Oosaki, but his aim is shit. Before he could continue trying to kill Oosaki, Funeno appears, charging directly at Shiodome's tree and knocking him out of it with a powerful tackle. Shiodome mistakes him for a bear and starts panicking, quickly getting restrained by the huge but pathetic man. Oosaki takes the chance to discharge all the bullets from Shiodome's gun.

With the mystery resolved, they all return to Yaegaki together. Oosaki demands everyone to hand their invitations over so he can pass them back to the right people to prevent future squabbles. Nobody seems to want to comply until Takeshiba turns his over first, as he seems to be lowkey sick of the idea of murdering each other at this point. The others end up joining in too, but instead of returning them, Oosaki burns all their charges together... Damn. He claims that this is just the mastermind trying to fuck with them anyways, so it's better to just go home. Now that they have Shiodome's record player, Oosaki can use the parts to repair Mikazuki's phone! This news causes the group to be a little less pissed off about him burning the charges.

The phone is then fixed, and they successfully contact the police. Due to the typhoon however, their rescue would be delayed to the next day... Unlike in every other route, the group does not seem to mind so much. In fact, they seem to have wanted to hang around a bit longer. But why...?  Turning towards the group, Oosaki notices that a good majority of them are eyeing him in a way that makes him feel uncomfortable.... Uh oh...

Is this really Funeno's route... what the hell.. he's going to get jumped...

Things cut to later on after everyone escapes the island. According to official reports, nobody died and everything's fine. Even the boatman Komuse only failed to show up because he was in the hospital for appendicits. He's fine now! Yay! Oosaki visits Shizuma at his office to present his report on what happened. He hands over the drawn profiles of all the inviduals he met, and then reports their basic profile (including what crimes are on their records) and how many times he had sex with them. Shizuma is shooked... he also has funny commentary on each of them. Wow... Out of all of them, apparently his moment with Aomi was the longest and most passionate... wow... Just from looks, it seems Shizuma finds Aomi the most appealing as well. They should have a 3P in Aomi's ending. He is also completely shocked (negative) by the mention of Oosaki fucking Shijoumae, so it seems Shizuma has indeed met him before. Anyways.

An interesting note is that each guy has a CG, but it's so outlandish and bizarre compared to the ones from their own routes?? Like.. how do I put this... they're more shameful. It's like they've lost all dignity. It's erotic though for sure. Like Ariake doesn't even bother to hide the scars on his arm, and Shinbashi is completely exposed and facing a MIRROR of all things... we all know how much he hates his appearance so it's shocking to say the least. Aomi's, he's letting Oosaki wear his father's glasses?? What in tarnation... Anyways, apparently Shiodome only jumped Oosaki because he was feeling left out. Of course... he's a cutie as usual.

Anyways, Toyosu and Hinode stayed out of it. Shizuma seems disappointed by that as he wanted to hear something even more ridiculous than what he's heard so far, but Oosaki apparently only had 'self-defense sex' with those who were 'threatening his life'. Wow... Funeno also did not participate. In fact, Oosaki actually brought Funeno with him here to meet the real Daiba Shizuma in order to quell any misunderstandings he may have had. Funeno is super polite and cute, but Shizuma doesn't really care much. Either way, Oosaki tells Shizuma that he is willing to continue to act as his body double to keep these cock hungry gays sated and away from the real Shizuma. Shizuma has an unreadable expression, but doesn't push the matter further. Oosaki tries to gift Shizuma a souvenir of those iconic bird shaped cookies, but apparently Shizuma is deathly allergic to wheat, so he refuses it.

On the way out, Oosaki ends up gifting the cookies to Funeno instead, who eats them like a chipmunk. For whatever reason, Oosaki finds it kind of cute. He plans to go his separate ways from Funeno forever after this, but Funeno insists for Oosaki to come visit his residence next month along with his friends. Finding it hard to refuse Funeno's fervor, he agrees.

The next month, Oosaki heads to his home only to find that Funeno is fucking rich. He's the master of a large manor, as apparently his family used to be wealthy merchants. He was actually adopted, but became the head after everyone else died. While everyone in the local town loves him, he still stays humble. He greets Oosaki in a beauitful yellow kimono and showers him with amazing hospitality. He cooks a fancy dinner and even plays the koto??? Is he a princess??? He also asks why Oosaki didn't invite his friends, to which Oosaki responds that they aren't his friends. He only keeps 'interacting' with them for work. I feel so bad for them what the hell... I don't think business only sex friends is a very positive influence on men who are already so mentally unstable. Well whatever.

While checking out Funeno's awesome house, Oosaki notices some interesting paintings on his wall which apparently depict the origin legend of Ooejima. Apparently long ago, there was a god of abundance and a goddess of decline who were siblings that fell in love. They lived on Hachijouji (the island next to Ooejima) and she eventually got knocked up with her brother's godly incest baby. The other gods thought those two attributes would be too powerful if paired together, so they tried to break them up by exiling the goddess from the island. The brother tried to bring her back, only for their boat to explode or something. Anyways, the brother god was stuck on Hachijouji while the sister goddess ended up trapped on Ooejima, where she populated the entire island with her incest baby son. Wow... Ooejima is incest island.

Apparently ever since they would have ceremonies at times to ward off famine, where Hachijouji would choose a man as a sacrifice to represent the brother god, and ship him off to Ooejima... where... well who knows what happened to him. Anyways, Oosaki finds the part where the goddess fucked her son particularly repulsive, probably because of his brotherfather issues, but Funeno insists that legends are just like that. Anyways, it may be true that even to this day, people of the Ooejima bloodline tend to be more attracted to others from the same bloodline... hmm, much to think about!

Anyways, Funeno does whatever he can to convince Oosaki to stay the night, including an attempt to call a prostitute for him. Oosaki insists that he's not a sex addict like one would assume from his recent career, and that he would prefer to spend time talking with Funeno instead. Smooth... They spend some time in the garden together before Oosaki starts to put the moves on him, asking if there was anything Funeno wanted from him. He obviously wants an intimate relationship, but all he asks for is for Oosaki to call him by his first name. Kureichirou... Apparently, he's felt trapped ever since becoming a Funeno once he was adopted. Never again will he simply be Kureichirou.

Kureichirou also opens up about how he killed his sister. Apparently his adopted father initially hired him as a servant, but decided to adopt him once he realized he was of Ooejima descent. Seems someone from Ooejima had done his dad a great favor in the past, so he wanted to repay it by marrying someone of the Ooejima bloodline to his daughter. However, Kureichirou is gay as fuck, so being jumped by a girl in the dead of the night caused him to bludgeon her in a panic. Apparently the scene was quite violent... geez. Dad ended up covering up the whole case, but before he could find a new daughter, he dropped dead from oldness. Wow... Kureichirou has felt quite guilty ever since... On another note, doing the math of how he was adopted after his whole family died from air raids, it becomes clear that Kureichirou is only twenty years old. This realization stuns Oosaki into momentary silence, but we have more important things to dwell on right now.

Anyways, Kureichirou is so damn moe and shy that Oosaki puts the moves on him, which quickly leads to them rolling in the sheets together. Even though Kureichirou is a shy pretty princess, apparently he's been lusting after Oosaki for quite some time... It's also particularly cute how he's way bigger than Oosaki? Like he's just huge. Also he has ginormous tits, maybe even fatter than Shijoumae's.

Well the next day, the two are a very happy couple, and Oosaki asks Kureichirou to call him by his first name as well... Hiiro... He even smiles at Kureichirou. Extremely rare Oosaki smile. I'm actually shocked what the hell. He must really like him.

THE END!

Apparently after the story, Shizuma would stick to his position as the head of the Daiba company and begin working on a restoration of Ooejima, which Kureichirou would also participate in. Oosaki would then act as his body double to inspect the island in his place, where he can then meet his lover... wow... and the other guys would also be continuing to chase him as well.... Does that make Kureichirou a cuck wife?

Also random fact: Seems the Funeno family is called that because while being a prominent merchant family, they also were once in charge of providing the boats for the sacrificial ceremony... (Fune means boat). This why the house got a lot of the legends of Ooejima.

Anyways, that's not important. Most important is that next is Shizuma's route.

Before I go into that though I'll summarize some of the mysterious letters you unlock after each route.

TL;DR as the letters get unlocked, it becomes increasingly obvious that they're written by Ooe An. They're all lovesick letters of her beaming vibes at her brother-in-law, who judging by the contents appears to be the brother of her sister's husband. Apparently this brother-in-law had a wife who was pushed down the stairs, rendering her infertile due to injuries, but of course An is innocent! How could her brother-in-law accuse her of such things!? She even has an alibi! Totally! She also writes about how she confided in brother-in-law's brother about how mean he's been acting towards her, and he even shed tears at hearing how awful his brother been acting! Damn! She also got pregnant, and it must be brother-in-law's baby, because babies are born from love! She doesn't love anyone else, so it must be his! Why does brother-in-law refuse that this is his baby!? Bruh how much drama is this.

Anyways, if it isn't obvious enough, through all the clues we gather throughout the game the only person who fits all the prerequisites of being a man who has a brother who is married to the sister of Ooe An is Daiba Shizuma. Is Shizuma truly guilty of all the things in these letters? Was An driven to suicide by him? Who really was this Sukekiyo? These the thoughts I had in mind going into his route... Hmmmm... Also, doing the math, we know that Ooe An died 3 years ago in her supposed murder and/or suicide. Shizuma's brother, Sukekiyo, died 2 years ago alongside his son in a boat accident. Hmm...

Moving on!

SHIZUMA ROUTE

This route branch is at the very beginning of the game. Upon first receiving the request to act as a double for Shizuma, dad recommends that Oosaki put more thought into it since the job sounds sus as hell. This time, he actually does.

Things stay relatively similar, but on their last meeting after Shizuma answers some personal questions about his life, Oosaki tells him that if he's told a single lie, he won't accept the request. Obviously a real criminal would insist on being truthful, but Oosaki lowkey don't care about that. He wouldn't mind going off to die for a truly evil person, since he's suicidal anyways. His logic really not adding up all that much, but the question still makes Shizuma have some doubts. He quickly admits that almost everything he saida bout his life was a lie. He did not meet his wife in painting class. In fact, he is currently divorced. He didn't even go to college apparently. After saying all this, he immediately decides that he wants to cancel the request. Maybe it really is a plot to harm him, and if so, he wouldn't be able to sleep at night if Oosaki got hurt because of him. Therefore, he should just go himself!

The only real issue is that the lawyer enforcing his father's will required Shizuma to send Oosaki in his place, otherwise he can't get the inheritance... thus a wild plot is born. Shizuma would head to Ooejima pretending to be Oosaki pretending to be him, while Oosaki would stay at Shizuma's family villa pretending to be him. Oosaki has NO idea what the hell this guy is thinking, but a job's a job, so he accepts.

A few days before the memorial is supposed to take place, Oosaki heads to the Daiba family villa on Shizuma's instructions. This is the one with the lake where Shizuma's brother and nephew drowned at. Anyways, Shizuma had told him he can do whatever he wants in the house and use whatever he likes, but when he enters... he finds the door already unlocked. And at the entryway, is a pair of woman's pumps. He looks up and sees... a woman. Does he have the wrong house??? He double checks, and the address is right... The woman also seems friendly and invites him in. She walks around like she owns the place, and invites Oosaki to sit wherever he likes. Hmm... okay sure.

The deal was that Oosaki would just sit around and pick up the phone when Shizuma called to check in. Shizuma insisted for him to pick up within five rings, so having nothing better to do, Oosaki spends a majority of the time sitting right next to the phone.

Eventually, the phone rings and upon picking up, he hears Shizuma short of breath and clearly in distress. What's going on...!? Apparenetly, he overslept and is late for his flight. Great. He wants to ask Oosaki for his advice... Oosaki tells him to head straight there and skip taking a bath. After about half an hour, the phone rings again... Shizuma tells Oosaki that he is likely going to miss it still because instead of heading straight there, he took a bath. What the hell... Luckily, Oosaki assists Shizuma in figuring out a different flight he can take. Wow. Shizuma is so cute and silly. Anyways, before he can ask about the mysterious woman in the house, Shizuma hangs up on him. Great.

Time passes as Oosaki continues to do nothing besides wait for Shizuma to call. The strange woman continues to leisurely live in the house as if it belongs to her, and even makes Oosaki his meals. Who the fuck is this?? He has a hard time bringing himself to ask, so he just continues to accept her hospitality in silence. They make some casual small talk, and the woman mentions that she used to live with someone with severe wheat allegies. That's why all the dishes she makes doesn't use wheat. Wheat allegies you say... where have I heard that before... She also mentions that while it may sound hard to be with someone with allegies, she felt like rather than it being hard on her, it was harder for the other person. What does this mean...?

As Shizuma slowly and leisurely makes his journey towards Ooejima, Oosaki finally manages to question him about the strange woman. Shizuma's just like "Huh?? There's someone in my house?? That's weird. Don't accept any food from them! It's sus! Okay bye!" and hangs up abruptly. Bruh... At the next call he's just like "Oh I'm sure she's the housekeeper!" or "She must be a local real estate appraiser checking on the value of the house!" or whatever. Oosaki is left feeling like Shizuma is fucking with him. He becomes progressively more irritated with this strange and unpredictable man, but there's nothing he can do about it except sit here and ruminate about it.

At one point, he sees the woman try to use the boat on the lake. Oosaki attempts to stop her, since he finds it dangerous (taking into account people died here before) but she laughs at him and insists that she's a strong independent woman. Seriously, who is this lady. Oosaki can't help but notice that she also strongly resembles Ooe An. It couldn't be... could it?

Shizuma finally arrives at Ooejima and reports his findings to Oosaki, describing the other invitees as different types of sushi to "help Oosaki imagine them." For example he calls Shinbashi a sea urchin and Hinode a fried egg. It doesn't help, obviously. Anyways, he seems completely carelessly happy-go-lucky as usual. Oosaki finds him extremely hard to understand.

What is Shizuma's deal? What does he want? This memorial service is suspicious as hell, but he didn't seem to even bat an eye at the thought of going on his own after all. He even changed the plans so last minute, as if it didn't really matter. Almost everything he says sounds like a joke... does he take anything seriously at all? What's going through his head? Why doesn't he care there's a strange woman in his house? In the end, Oosaki actually knows literally nothing about Shizuma besides his name and face.

While stuck ruminating, the strange woman comes and invites Oosaki to go boating with her. With nothing better to do until his next appointed call time from Shizuma, he joins her. They row to the center of the lake, where she tells him about how a child died here before. She tells him that ever since, she hasn't believed in any God or Buddha, and that when she wants to make a wish or hope for something, she would place the backs of her hands together in some kind of reversed prayer. This is likely a direct connection to the butterflies that appear like hands that are mentioned at the very beginning of the game. This can probably be analyzed further but I am too dumb to do that right now.

Anyways, Oosaki finally asks her if she could possibly be Ooe An... to which she laughs at him. She's Ooe An's sister. Apparently, she wanted to spend some time here and think of the memories one last time before returning to the countryside to get remarried. Okay so it all makes sense now... she's Shizuma's sister-in-law. That day, she then leaves and bids Oosaki goodbye, then revealing that she thought he was the housekeeper this entire time. At seeing his confuzzled look, she asks if he's actually a real estate appraiser instead...? To which Oosaki says, yeah sure I'm a real estate appraiser. Great. On a last note, she comments that Oosaki greatly resembles someone she used to know... Gee I wonder who! She then hands him the master key and leaves forever.

As he waits for Shizuma's next call, strangely enough, it never comes. The day arrives that Shizuma should have let the island, yet... he hasn't. Wonder why! The more time passes, the more Oosaki starts to get extremely concerned. He keeps telling himself that worrying about Shizuma's well being wasn't part of his contract and that technically, he could just leave right now as his job is done. But he can't! Being mentally weak, he starts to see shadows in the house... perhaps shadows of Shizuma himself. Just go find him bro what are you waiting for...

While feeling extremely stressed, Oosaki ends up following the shadow upstairs to a locked door... Upon unlocking it, he finds that it's a painting atelier. An easle stands in the center with an unfinished canvas sitting on it... A sketch of Shizuma's family. Sitting next to it is a photograph that was being used for reference. A photo of Shizuma, his brother Sukekiyo, both of their wives, Sukekiyo's son, and Ooe An. All together, standing as a happy family. But looking at this, everything Oosaki wondered about suddenly becomes clear...

Oosaki has to decide, is Shizuma Shizuma, or is he... Sukekiyo...? At this point with everything we've learned, it's pretty obvious.

If picking Shizuma, the game restarts from the begining. So the right answer is obviously Sukekiyo. What's itneresting to note however, is that both options have the 'correct' sfx playing. (I don't remember if I mentioned but every option in this game has a 'correct' or 'wrong' sfx that will play. Very interesting when taking into Toyosu's lines about chooseing between what's 'correct' and what's not.)

Another interesting note, is that the choice page has some impressions of 'myself', Sukekiyo, and 'my nephew' written from what is clearly the real Shizuma's perspective.  Shizuma describes himself as a negative and gloomy fellow, and Sukekiyo as a kind and loving one. He apparently rowed onto that boat planning to kill himself, but his nephew, who couldn't even swim, tried to jump off the boat to save him... Resulting in both of their deaths... That's kinda dark.

So the Shizuma we've known isn't Shizuma at all. He never was. He's Sukekiyo...  For the past 2 years, he's been impersonating his own brother, Daiba Shizuma. Oosaki somehow manages to hallucinate an apparition of Sukekiyo, who tells him more about the story.

Ever since they first met at painting class, Sukekiyo loved his brother and wanted to be like real brothers. It was a powerful, unconditional love... Agape... But having different mothers who only wanted to compete with each other, Sukekiyo's mother did not allow them to interact further. I was only after Sukekiyo's mother died that he could finally be free to get close to Shizuma. But by that point, Shizuma was already a very gloomy and anti-social person. As time passed, his character seemed to get worse and rumors began to spread of his bad behavior, especially after Ooe An came into the picture. But Shizuma turned a blind eye to it all. He didn't want to scold his brother and lose their connection... he treasured his ties to his brother more than anything, so he loved and accepted him no matter how many sins he accumulated.

....Wow...................... Anyways, even after Ooe An seemingly killed herself because of Shizuma, Sukekiyo still loved him and wanted to protect him. But then Shizuma seemingly commited a double suicide with Sukekiyo's son on the lake. This devastated Shizuma so heavily, that he was broken at his core. In a fit of brocon madness, at that point he started to tell everyone that Sukekiyo was the one who drowned, and that he was Shizuma. Since the two already looked basically identical, the only ones who knew them best, which was not a lot of people.

How is an apparition telling Oosaki all this anyways. Regardless, Sukekiyo's story resonated heavily with Oosaki, since he also has a deep complex regarding his own brother, albeit one of a completely different genre from Sukekiyo's. They're also both suffering from passive suicidal ideation, so perhaps that resonated with Oosaki as well. The apparition somehow tells Oosaki that he's currently at the hospital on Hachijouji, so Oosaki rushes straight there!

It seems while he did survive his time on murder fuck island, it was not without some... troubles. Oosaki finds Sukekiyo unconscious in the hospital, body riddled with stab wounds. Apparently he really pissed off Hinode and managed to get himself a lot of new holes. Oops.

Oosaki is so fucking pissed that Sukekiyo clearly didn't give a fuck if he died or not, that he starts shaking his unconscious body. WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU TWO-FACED LYING BITCH!!! Thankfully, he really does wake up, asking Oosaki to stop smacking him around lest he get in trouble with the hospital staff. Anyways, it's crazy seeing how emotional Oosaki gets here since the last time he was so worked up was in Ariake's route I believe... the first... and now the last...

Sukekiyo is discharged and later even sends Oosaki a postcard, showing that he made up with Hinode. Apparently at present, now the only people who know of the secret of his identity or them, Hinode, and probably Sukekiyo's ex-wife. But he's still dedicated to living under Shizuma's name. Though he also just cuts all contact after that and Oosaki doesn't hear from him again for a while.

A year passes, and not a day has gone where Oosaki wasn't thinking about him... he heads to pay respect to his grandmother's grave, and strangely enough, runs right into him. 'Shizuma' was here waiting for him... but why...?  Of course, Oosaki is mad as fuck at being left on read for a year, but he's also relieved to see him again. Mostly pissed off though. Even with all that happened, Sukekiyo doesn't seem to have changed at all. He's still over casual and in that constant playful mood. He's still going by Shizuma, and he's still fucking around aimlessly. But Oosaki doesn't plan to let go of him this time...

(I'll keep calling him Shizuma if he wants to be Shizuma so bad, fuck it)

They end up back at the Daiba Villa, where Shizuma shows off his recent paintings. But unlike the real Shizuma, he's complete dogshit at oil painting and coloring in general. Apparently the painting appraiser that the real Shizuma used to show his paintings to had looked at Shizuma's and said "Shizuma is dead..." He's that fucking dogshit... It turns out that Shizuma prefers to start with his favorite bright colors before moving to the darks, which is the exact opposite of how you should approach oil painting. He asks Oosaki to finish the family portrait for him, but Oosaki refuses. However he does advise him that watercolors involve starting with ligher colors, so maybe he should get into that instead.

Well they banter a bit, and things get more serious. Oosaki asks Shizuma if he still loves his wife, to which he says that of course he does!  But that divorce was likely going to happen regardless because they held different values. Shizuma once asked her if she would be able to move on and love again if the love of her life died, and she said yes. But for him, it's the complete opposite. He's positive he would never recover.... ouch. Shizuma also goes on to say that he's already loved 107 people, and that Oosaki is his 108th. This upsets Oosaki off greatly, but what can you do.

Don't remember the exact order of events, but it becomes apparent that Shizuma is so attached to Oosaki because he is identical to the real Shizuma. They look similar, act similar, have similar dispositions, and both excel at drawing. Looking at Oosaki reminds him of the brother he lost. Hmm...

Oosaki ends up abruptly confessing his feelings: that he's grown very very attached to Shizuma. In the sexual sense. And more probably. Shizuma seductively wraps his arms around him before whispering in his ears: "I'd prefer to stay as brothers. Real brothers, who don't have sex with each other." THEN WHY SAY IT SO SEDUCTIVELY??? Oosaki gets really annoyed and calls him a mean bitch essentially. So Shizuma wants to be 'real brothers'...? But then why is he goading Oosaki on like this?

Oosaki ends up dragging him to a bed and pinning him down... Shizuma just laughs and tells him that he's already thought of a scenario: Oosaki being the younger brother who's fallen in love with his older brother, finally losing reason and attacking him. He asks Oosaki to make up what happens next! HUH??? YOU WANT TO INCEST ROLEPLAY???????????? I... taking everything we've learned thus far into account, I feel there is a lot to think about here. Anyways, Oosaki strips Shizuma's clothes off before noticing that he's covered in love bites. Who the fuck did this...? Well it turns out, Shizuma is an actual whore. Remember when he said he's loved 107 other people? He meant that sexually. He's extremely experienced. His hole is loose. This makes Oosaki extremely upset, and a competitive fire seems to start burning within him.

He finally starts undressing himself, but it starts to piss Nii-chan off since Oosaki also folds all his clothes properly and puts them to the side. He also then just fucking leaves, telling Shizuma that he wants to shower first. Huh... Neglect play...?

Some time later, he returns to find a naked Shizuma reading magazines on the bed. Shizuma of course doesn't mind if Oosaki is dirty or sweaty, and in fact would enjoy saying hentai lines like "you're so sweaty~~" or "You have such an erotic smell~~" or whatever the fuck. Oosaki tells him that he just doesn't want to taint Shizuma with his own dirty body... and that he doesn't mind saying those words to Shizuma instead. Huh... Anyways, Oosaki tries to be the stoic seme like he is in every other route, but Nii-chan fucking jumps him. He says insanely lewd lines like "I'll be taking your virginity~" and "Don't cum too soon, virgin-kun~" wuh ... wuh wuh wuhbuhbuh.... HE'S SO EROI... WHAT THE HELL... Oosaki is completely overwhelmed as Shizuma basically wrings him dry. But he is a stubborn and competitive person, so he tries to turn the tables and prove to Shizuma that he can replace all 107 other people.

After everything, Shizuma confesses that there wasn't 107 other people... Oosaki is shooked and almost feels bad for a moment, before realizing that the way Shizuma worded it really means that there were technically less than 107 but still more than 1. So he remains pissed. Can he really handle this guy...?

THE END!

Wuh.... Augh... Huh... What the hell... I... what...

Okay let's go over what we've learned. After completing this route, the final letters are unlcoked as well. The last one is a letter from Hinode's mother to the real Shizuma. Apparently, Ooe An was a manipulative and decadent woman who preyed on men. Judging by her situation, I find it likely that she turned out that way due to sexual abuse in the movie industry. Either way, she toyed with men's hearts as if it was a game, and she had targetted Shizuma to fuck around with. Hinode's mom writes an apology to Shizuma, saying that she hopes he can move on from all this and pick the correct decisions from here on. Also, it's revealed that Hinode's mother was the one who murdered An. Mom had raised Hinode as a girl to protect him from An, but after An figured out he was a boy... well... Mom took some preemptive measures. She then signs a goodbye and says she's going to go drown herself in a river.

Judging by the dates, it's clear that Shizuma received this letter a month or so before he decided to kill himself. He cut his wrists on that boat and then accidentally got his nephew drowned too. RIP!

Another interesting note to take into account is that in this game, red eyes signifies being descended from the Ooejima people. Much to think about! Apparently some more observant individuals are even able to see this redness... Hmm... And as we know Ooejima people tend to be attracted to other Ooejima people. Also that it was a complete coincidence that all the sinners that were gathered were these red-eyed Ooejima descendants. Since apparently people from Ooejima also have a tendency to be a little wild. Supposedly. The incest gene...................I mean what... Anyways. Moving on.

FINAL(?) THOUGHTS

I truly love almost all the characters in this game. They're all WIFE! But it's basically confirmed that whoever's route isn't pursued, they'll likely die down the line from other miserable reasons. A core theme in this VN is about finding redemption and forgiveness or what have you, so it's stated that characters who don't do this are destined to meet a miserable fate. All these characters have so much wrong with them... I don't even know where to begin.

But most of all... SHIZUMA! SUKEKIYO!  THERE'S SO MUCH WRONG WITH HIM WHAT THE HELL... It actually hurts physically once you realize his jovial disposition is just a shell of who he is, since he's basically dead inside. He died with his brother that day by the lake... It's questionable whether Oosaki will ever even be able to truly get through to him, since he even says directly that he can never truly love the same way again after losing the one he loved: HIS BROTHER! It's clear from his approach that it's not like he's pretending Oosaki is a replacement Shizuma, but he's still using him to fill that void of wanting to have a little brother again... One that he can also have sex with. I suppose. Um...

He is so... what's the word. I feel he's lost his grip on reality. He's like... what's the word... like an ephemeral whisp in the wind. Like he could disappear any moment. Like if you take your eyes off he's going to walk himself off a cliff. This is probably how Oosaki feels. This guy is just living, bearing Shizuma's supposed sins, and looking for a place to die. But because he's so lonely and craves human connection, he drowns himself in fleeting pleasure with his numerous sex friends... And his loneliness is also what makes him try to cling to Oosaki, who so closely resembles his beloved brother... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you take another look at each ending after realizing that he would do anything for Oosaki, it really gives you a lot to think about!

Also, is he even trying to act like Shizuma? It becomes extremely clear that Shizuma is still acting like his original self to a degree. Oosaki is the one who actually resembles Shizuma... it's almost tragic to see how nobody saw through the lie except their close loved ones. Did nobody see that Sukekiyo is going through it? Even Shizuma's own family apparently didn't see through the ruse. Only the dad knew... Though according to post game notes, Sukekiyo hated his father for how he treated his wives and caused the rift between him and Shizuma. Apparently he preferred to just go by Kiyo, since the first character was taken from his father's name... I guess that's an extra reason why he doesn't mind just becoming Shizuma. Uh... I don't know.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I think but Oosaki mentions in this route that he feels like if he can witness Sukekiyo's survival, than he could find it in himself to forgive his brotherfather. And I guess it's the same for Sukekiyo to find acceptance of Shizuma's passing through Oosaki's growth. Maybe. Though we also are unfortunately left knowing that Sukekiyo will never actually know the truth behind Shizuma's supposed suicide. Hinode's mom's letter was lost. Nobody has it. Nobody knows the truth except US! Gee willickers...

It's painful to know that the real Shizuma was likely driven into a corner by Ooe An. He already was of a suicidal disposition similar to Oosaki's, so it's understandable to see how things turned out so fucked.

Another thing I think about is... initially at the beginning of the game, Shizuma tells Oosaki that he met his wife in painting class. But we soon learn that the only person he ever met in painting class was his brother. Hmm...

Anyways. Did you know the individual on the cover art for part 2 isn't Oosaki? My theory is that's the real Shizuma. My guess is because of the dead portrait lines, and the general ethereal vibes of the image. He even got a paper crane which is a prominent symbol used throughout the story... If Oosaki and Shizuma were really that identical, then what was Sukekiyo thinking this whole time whenever he saw his notbrother going through it?

Cover for the 2nd Half

Okay back to story analysis. So Ooe An is definitely a "haunts the narrative" character, and it's quite interesting since in a sense she embodies everything that the story is sort of about. As is said in post game materials, to know each of the invitees is to know Ooe An and vice versa. In a way their sinfulness and craziness are all rooted in Ooe An. The wildness of the Ooejima bloodline is embodied in her rippling affect on everyone aroudn her... As seen in each route, each of the guys had a very strong impression of her (besides Shiodome who never met her). Everything starts from her... hm.. I think a smarter person could analyze this better. I didn' really do any analysis at all here because honestly I'm still caught up on Nii-chan. In a way Shizuma is also haunting the narrative.

I feel really sorry for Sukekiyo's wife. Imagine your husband being such a brocon that after your son dies, he decides to start impersonating his brother and thus ending your marriage. What the... Judging by her actions in Shizuma's route, it's clear that while she still loves him, she's ready to let him go. She can't fix him so she's getting out. Understasndable. But Oosaki who's fallen irrevocably in love with him is going to stick with him to the end... I hope they figure something out.

I've read a lot of other people's analysis online too, and one point I found interesting was how completing the game recontextualizes Ariake's A route. Ariake is an interesting character because he's the first route that you're forced to complete. Ariake's B route is him trying to drag Oosaki down to his level and finding a dysfunctional happiness like that. Meanwhile, A route is him actually rejecting Oosaki after realizing he can't succeed at doing that. As seen in other routes, Ariake seems to turn away from an Oosaki who doesn't match his ideals, but in his A route, he comes to accept him regardless. A 'good' Oosaki forces him to face his own flaws... but maybe he can reform as well. Good luck I guess.

There's defintely a very strong presense of the whole being 'correct' or not. This correctness seems to be aligned more with doing the right thing and following Oosaki's sense of justice. He's plagued by the shadows of his sinful conception as well as his childhood mistakes, and wants to find a way to forgive himself. Maybe finding forgiveness in others helps him forgive himself as well, and the same applies to the other characters. Each of the guys' routes has Oosaki help them come to terms with their actions sort of and find the heart to try moving forward. Sort of. Looks at Shijoumae's route... I don't know about you though man. Well you get the point. Actually my brain is so mush right now I don't even know what I'm talking about...

Was Oosaki's conception even all that sinful when everyone in this game has the incest gene? Much to ponder. It's funny to realize Shinagawa never stood a chance in the end because he's not related to Oosaki. RIP.

Anyways, there's probably much more intelligent analysises out there. I don't have much brains right now to continue pondering... All I know is that I LOVE SHIZUMA! Or Sukekiyo. Whatever. But does he love Oosaki...? That's the real questions... When he told Oosaki that he has too much love to share at the beginning of the VN, he wasn't kidding. This man is desperately lonely. He has so much love to share. But he's afraid of loving someone again since he is, to this day, still irrevocably damaged by the loss of his brother. Honesty, I'm doubtful whether Oosaki will be able to fill this void, but I'm positive he'll keep trying anyways. On this route at least.

But then how will the other guys be happy... If only Oosaki could split into multiples... Shinbashi is so wife. Aomi is so wife. Shiodome is so wife. Takeshiba is so wife. Funeno is wife. Hinode is... well I shouldn't say. Ariake is so... I'm sorry, I think he'd be the concubine who keeps poisoning the other concubines. Scary. I don't trust him... He can only be truly domesticated in his A route which requires a lot of effort on Oosaki's part, so I'm afraid I don't have it in me to include him in my harem. The old guys can stay old elsewhere. Shijoumae's ginormous milkers may got me tempted but... I'd rather have his hot wife than him, sorry. Funeno's tits bigger anyways. Toyosu literally on death's door he should be on life support not in a harem.

Okay where was I. What the hell am I even on about now.

SHIZUMA IS LIFE! SHIZUMA IS LIFE! SHIZUMA IS LIFE!! SHIZUMA IS WIFE!!!  Shizuma nation represent.

Please feel free to talk to me about this VN! Maybe I'm just as lonely as Shizuma nii-chan! I'd love to see more analyses and become more intelligent from them. Just scouring the internet for the thoughts of my fujosisters and fujobrothers has been fulfilling and educational... this VN really does give a lot of brain worms to ponder on.

One of these days I think it would be nice to reread the VN with much more analytical eyes. I think there are many deatils that are overlooked until you know the truth... and likely a lot of small things I glossed over or just didn't realize. Admittedly, I read through the game quickly to sate my curiosity as quickly as possible so it's very likely I've missed some things. Overall it was such an engaging read though... I'd say a reread is definiteyl in order... hope I actually do that someday.

Okay, closing note. When looking at the cover for the complete edition (see the image at the top of this post), I find there's a lot to ponder here...

The bloodstained pencil and bloodstained fingers... Who is 'drawing' this image? Who's looking at Oosaki... That's right. SHIZUMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shizuma is only good at sketches, and not good at coloring. The menu's in this game all use this same pencil for the 'return' button... Though since Oosaki is a watercolor specialist, that means he also probably has a focus on using pencils. Still, when I see pencils now it makes me think more of Shizuma who is shit at everything besides pencil sketches. The fingers are also not burned so that's another clear indication... Shizuma has always been gazing at Oosaki... at his brother. Gives you a lot to think about, doesn't it. #broconsforever #brotherlovingislife

Update: Nevermind I just read a convincing analysis that the hands probably belong to Shizuma (real) who is probably watching over Oosaki because he's unemployed (dead) and has nothing better to do I guess. And that the red pencil of course signifying how he is literally bloody and dead. Too much to really explain but it was pretty convincing. You know maybe Shizuma (real) is also haunting the narrative. In a way he's like another version of Oosaki. It feels like it, especially taken the part written from his pov into consideration. Much to think about.

At the end of the day this entire story really is just about Oosaki and his brother. In more ways than one... He's plagued by the shadow of the brother he never knew, and also plagued by the presence of the 'brother' who he doesn't understand. And plagued by the narrative haunting of the brother of the brother... brothers... wow...

Oh yeah, I'm not sure when it happened but probably after completing the game, the title on the start screen changes characters to the Ooe for Ooejima and are also much less squiggly than before:

I suppose it's to show that all the trials and tribulations are finally over! Yay! The End!
